Is Kim Kardashian Using Her Kids as an Excuse to Stay With Kanye West?
Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s relationship isn’t in the best place. There have been several reports that the pair are headed for divorce. Though the reports have been coming for weeks, Kim has not actually filed. Could it be because she is looking for reasons to stay?
Kim and Kanye’s problems
Throughout Kim and Kanye’s time together, fans have noticed a few issues between them. Some called Kanye controlling when he began to speak about the large influence he had over what Kim wears. But every couple has problems.
Things escalated in 2020 when Kanye admitted at a presidential rally that he and Kim almost aborted their oldest child North. Afterward, he went on a Twitter rant, claiming that Kim was trying to have him locked up.
“Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor,” he tweeted.“If I get locked up like Mandela… Ya’ll will know why.”
“Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie ‘Get Out’ because I cried about saving my daughter’s life yesterday,” he wrote in another tweet.
He also told his followers that he had been trying to divorce Kim.

“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the [Waldorf] for prison reform,” he wrote before deleting the tweet.
Kim later addressed the Twitter comments in her Instagram story. She chalked the tirade up to Kanye’s bipolar disorder and asked fans to try to be understanding.
Kim Kardashian West is thinking of divorcing Kanye West
Since the outburst, Kim and Kanye have been trying to work on their marriage.
“Kim and Kanye are in counseling and exploring their options,” a source told People. “They have been working on their marriage for a long time, but no decision has been made.”
Even though they have been in counseling, Kanye reportedly knows that Kim is nearing filing.
“He knows that she’s done,” a source told the outlet of Kanye. “She has had enough, and she told him that she wants some space to figure out her future.”
“He’s OK,” the source continued. “He’s sad, but OK. He knows the inevitable will happen, and he knows that it’s coming soon.”
Kim might not leave Kanye because of their kids
Though most sources close to the famous couple have revealed that Kim wants to leave, she hasn’t done so because of her four kids, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
“The children are very important to Kim,” a source told the outlet. “She is worried about what a permanent split will be like for all of them concerning their well being.”

“She is asking others for advice on how to do this,” the source continued. “But for the past few months and even longer, trying to be a normal family has been challenging and frustrating. She wants to move on.”
Despite wanting to make sure her kids are OK, Kim is done with Kanye.
“They are just not on the same page when it comes to their future as a family,” another insider said. “And Kim is OK with it. She will do everything she can for the kids to have a great relationship with Kanye — she just doesn’t want to be married to him.”
