Is Larsa Pippen Returning To ‘RHOM’ Cast? Latest News on Peacock Reboot
The Real Housewives of Miami is set to return to TV as Peacock confirmed they were developing a new season. The former Bravo franchise ended after only three seasons and now season 4 would air on the NBC Universal streaming service. A new report suggests that Larsa Pippen has been “offered a role” for the reboot but she’s not entirely sure if she wants to join.
Wendy Williams suggests Larsa Pippen
RHOM was short-lived on Bravo and fans were left wanting more. Peacock announced a couple of weeks ago that they were working on a revival series of the Miami-based show.
Purveyors of Pop will produce the series with Matt Anderson, Nate Green, and Cooper Green serving as executive producers along with Andy Cohen. During the TCA announcement, there were no details as to when the series would premiere or who was being cast.
Weeks before the cast was made official, there were rumors that Orianne Cevey, Phil Collins’ ex, was in talks to join the series. According to Page Six, Pippen and Latin superstar Paulina Rubio were also being considered for the reality series.
When Wendy Williams appeared on Watch What Happens Live, she pitched herself for the ensemble.
“I totally can have the in because I would immediately befriend Larsa Pippen,” Williams told Cohen. “Sign up Larsa Pippen, I’ve got the word on the inside that she wants to be a part. Sign up Mrs. Phil Collins, the ex who’s married to the young man, they both live in the mansion.”
However, Williams would only want to be a “friend of” and not a full-time housewife.
“Trust me, I definitely want to be just a ‘friend of’ because I don’t want to obligate myself to being there all the time,” Williams added. “And then come back and you ask me how my weekend is and I’m like, ‘Well, I was in Miami, let me tell you what I can say.”
Larsa Pippen reportedly in negotiations
A new report is now suggesting that Pippen has been contacted by producers to join RHOM Season 4. Fans of the reality series may remember that Pippen is one of the OG stars of the franchise but only appeared in the first season.
“[Pippen] has been offered a role on The Real Housewives of Miami and is considering it,” an anonymous source told Entertainment Tonight.
Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife recently took to Instagram to say she was “thinking about” the offer about returning to RHOM. A new report is suggesting that she is having second thoughts about joining.
“Larsa’s attorney advised her that it wouldn’t be a good idea [to return to the show], but she’s still thinking about it. She knows it comes with great financial gain, so she’s still on the fence,” an insider told Hollywood Life.
Fans want to see Pippen back in reality TV to possibly showcase her new romance with basketball star Malik Beasley. Pippen also had a fallout with the Kardashians but was recently spotted hanging out with Scott Disick.
