Is Phaedra Parks Engaged? Fans Spot Ring on Former ‘RHOA’ Star on THAT Finger
Though she never really left the spotlight, Phaedra Parks is back on reality television. For months, fans campaigned for her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta because they miss watching her snap and keeping up with her personal life.
Parks is still busy with her multiple businesses and two young sons, but she also has a man in her life. Due to a recent Instagram post, some fans believe she’s taken a major step with him.

In September 2019, Parks confirmed rumors about her love life when she posted a photo of herself and boyfriend Medina Islam on Instagram. Speculation began over the summer about her dating life and she spoke about their relationship during an interview with U.K.’s Daily MailTV.
Parks told the outlet she was excited about him:
“He’s very smart, very intelligent. He’s kind, we are both socially active. He’s really sober and smart. He’s a great father. So, I’m excited about it. He’s the type of guy you could really be proud of. He is healthy, he’s an exercise guru and his body is to die for. He doesn’t drink, he doesn’t do drugs.”
Parks is on ‘Marriage Boot Camp’
The newest season of Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition features Parks and her man working through some of their issues. Islam is an actor who’s been seen in Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots, and spends much of his time on the West Coast for work.
Parks and Islam are joining five other couples on the WE tv series which premieres on July 2. The pair met on the exclusive Raya dating app and dated for a few months before going public last fall.
Islam stated they need to master distance and communication. In the trailer for the show, Parks admits that they’ve never had sex, and it’s causing some friction in their relationship.
Parks has been promoting her appearance on Marriage Boot Camp in interviews and told KTLA she and Islam are doing great now. It sounds like they made it of boot camp out on solid ground.

Parks has more than 2.5 million Instagram followers, which is testament to her popularity even though she’s no longer on RHOA. Fans who’ve been keeping up with her and her new boo are eager to see how things play out on Marriage Boot Camp, but are wondering if they’re engaged.
Why? Parks shot this video to promote a shake and eagle-eyed fans had their eyes on her hands. They spotted a ring on her finger and want to know if she’s engaged.
One fan wrote, “Hmmm 🤔 I see a ring on that finger again‼️” A few others commented too, saying, “You’re engaged” and “There is a ring on her finger.” Parks tends to keep some things under wraps, so it wouldn’t be surprising if she doesn’t speak on her relationship status right now.
Viewers will have to coast through the entire season of Marriage Boot Camp and wait for Parks and Medina to share details about their romance after it airs. But this video raised its own questions for her fans.
