Is Rachael Ray Still Married to John Cusimano?

And Rachael Ray has proven over the years she’s a household name in the industry.
We know Rachael Ray best for her TV shows, cookware, and magazine — but we’ve also been interested in her personal life for years. It appears her relationship with John Cusimano has had its ups and downs, and fans are wondering if the two are still married. Here’s what we know.
Rachael said she assumed John was gay when they first met
Before the question of whether Rachael and John are still married can be answered, it’s important to look at their past — and Rachael has shared a funny story before about how she met her future husband. She explained to People that they were at a mutual friend’s party when they first met, and they ended up out together until 4 a.m. “He told me what he had made himself for dinner the night before, and I assumed that if you’re not a chef and you made what he told me he made, that he was gay,” Rachael told the publication. She then said she was going to set him up with a “handsome Italian man” she was friends with. It was at that point he told her he wasn’t gay, and they continued on with the night together.
By 2005, the two were getting married in a castle in Italy — and the wedding certainly looked beautiful. Family and friends were in attendance for the huge event, and the two then whisked off to Africa for their honeymoon, says Delish.
Infidelity rumors may have shaken their marriage
While the beginning of their marriage sounded like a dream, infidelity rumors may have caused some serious strife for the couple. Delish notes just a year into their marriage, The Enquirer published a story that included the account of one woman who said she had been involved with John while he and Rachael were married. The story also claimed the woman said John paid her to perform “degrading acts.” John and Rachael denied all of this — but the rumors didn’t stop there.
In 2010, Today noted that the Enquirer posted another story that claimed an insider said Rachael and John were having serious issues during Christmas time. “When they arrived, John stayed outside for 15 minutes. When he finally came into the house, Rachael acted like he wasn’t even there. She even closed her eyes so she wouldn’t have to meet his gaze!” the insider allegedly said. And in 2013, Daily Mail Online reported John was being accused of visiting swinger’s clubs in Manhattan.
Rachael and John just renewed their vows in 2015
Rachael and John have gone out of their way to clear the most outlandish rumors in the past. And to prove they still have a ton of love for each other, they even renewed their vows in 2015, proving their marriage is as strong as ever despite what the public may think.
Us Weekly reports for their 10-year wedding anniversary, Rachael and John headed to the same castle in Tuscany where they first said “I do” to renew their vows. They also brought 100 of their closest family and friends to celebrate the big day — and Rachael noted her pitbull was there to walk her down the aisle. She said of the ceremony, “We just wanted to really have that moment where we were all celebrating each other and the fact that we’d all been together for so long and it was great.” This should definitely shut down all of the rumors that their marriage is on the rocks.
