‘DWTS’: Is ‘Selling Sunset’ Star Chrishell Stause Dating Again?

What happened between Chrishell Stause and Justin Hartley
When Stause first appeared on season 1 of Selling Sunset, she was married to Hartley and gushed about how great of a husband he was. By season 3, she and Hartley were splitting.
“He texted me that we were filed,” she told her co-star Mary Fitzgerald on the show. “Forty-five minutes later, the world knew.”
“I talked to him right after because I thought that must be a joke,” she said. “But that was kind of the end of the communication.
“When I found out, I was minutes before leaving the house for work so I immediately just grabbed a few things and I just got out of there as fast as I could,” she continued. “I don’t think I really knew where I was going or what I was going to do, but I just had to leave.”
Chrishell joins ‘DWTS’
Having her divorce play out on tv thrust Stause into the spotlight like never before, so now she’s ready for a triumph.
“Listen, I’ve already fallen flat on my face in front of America already, so I really got that out of the way,” Stause told Entertainment Tonight of joining DWTS. “I don’t have anything else to lose, so it’s only going up from here!”
“I’m hoping this will be a new chapter, something positive,” she continued. “An experience I can kinda throw myself into and just kind of learn a new skill and have fun at the same time. I have no dance experience, so it’s going to at least be a laugh for all of us.”
Is Chrishell Stause dating again?
Hartley has recently been rumored to be dating his Young and the Restless co-star Sofia Perna. The two have even been posting sneaky pictures of one another to their Instagram stories.
Stause, on the other hand, has not been dating but recently some men have slid into her DMs.
“I have to say I have had a few, yes,” she told the outlet when asked about the messages she’s received. “Yeah it’s been — I don’t know how to answer that, I feel so weird. But yes, that has been a nice surprise. There’s a few [people you might now], but I’m not going to tell you who.”
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic put a halt to Stause’s dating plans for a while.
“I’m completely single and because of COVID, I haven’t done much mingling,” she continued. “I’m excited to mingle.”
Though Stause has said that she is ready to get back out there, she hasn’t actually comitted to going on any dates.
“[I’ve responded] in a polite way,” she said. “I haven’t like gone and like… I haven’t taken the next step, no.”
Dancing with the Stars could be the perfect place for Stause to find love as stars have been known to fall in love with their dancing pro partners in the past.
