Is ‘Station 19’ on Tonight, Dec. 2? The Season 5 Episode 7 Trailer Teases an Intense Fight
The last Station 19 episode on November 18 left fans worried for Pruitt after her father, Dean Miller (Okieriete Onaodowan), died in episode 5, but sadly the show is not on tonight, Dec. 2. Instead, when season 5 continues, Ben Warren (Jason George) continues the fight to keep Pru with him and Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) from Grey’s Anatomy. The last time we saw Vic Hughes (Barrett Doss) and Jack Gibson (Grey Damon), they both had a hard time with the loss of their friend, Dean. Plus, Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and Robert Sullivan’s (Boris Kodjoe) relationship is still on the rocks. The upcoming Station 19 Season 4 Episode 7 teases more drama between the couple.
Why isn’t ‘Station 19’ on tonight, Dec. 2, 2021?
According to ABC’s schedule, Station 19 Season 5 will lose its time slot tonight, Dec. 2. Instead, the network will air two special Christmas-themed Disney programs. Olaf’s Frozen Adventure steals the first half-hour time slot with a cute animated featurette about the Christmas season. Then Tom Hanks and Woody Allen take over the second slot with the critically acclaimed featurette, Toy Story That Time Forgot.
When does ‘Station 19’ Season 5 Episode 7, ‘A House is Not a Home’ return?
Viewers must wait until Dec. 9 to see Station 19 return to their Thursday evening time slot. However, there is good news and bad news that comes with that return. When Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7 returns (sadly not tonight), there are two episodes in a row. Viewers will get a holiday special episode on Dec. 16 as the winter finale.
In the Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7 trailer, Sullivan subs in for Captain Pat Aquino (Alain Uy), who was hurt by the explosion in episode 5. However, Andy is shocked by his presence at Station 23.
“I can be professional,” Sullivan tells Andy. “If you can’t, then that’s a you problem.”
In another clip, he tells her that if Andy plays her cards right, she could become the captain of Station 19. However, she’s not interested in the politics of it all. Meanwhile, Bailey refuses to fight to take Pru away from her grandparents.
What to expect when Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7 returns
According to the ABC press release, things worsen with Ben and Miranda’s situation when Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7 returns (not tonight) on Dec. 8, 2021. They attempt to talk Dean’s parents into letting them raise Pruitt. However, it doesn’t sound like it goes well. Ben wants to fight for Pru, but Bailey is hesitant. Will there be a custody battle for Dean’s little girl?
“Vic and Jack lean on one another as they process the loss of Dean while Ben and Bailey try to convince Dean’s parents to allow them to raise Pru,” the ABC press release reads. “Meanwhile, at Station 23, Andy’s role temporarily expands, and Sullivan subs in. Carina and Maya explore growing their family.”
Although Sullivan fills in for the captain, it sounds like Andy also steps up into some of the captain’s roles. Will the pair realize they miss each other or will working together again tear them further apart?
Don’t look for Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7 to return tonight, but rather on ABC at 8 p.m. EST on Dec. 9, 2021.
