Summer Walker has sent fans into a frenzy but not because of her music. It’s because the Over It singer appeared in several social media posts in October that prompted rumors that she’s expecting her first child. But is Summer Walker actually pregnant? Here’s what we know.
Fans think Summer Walker is expecting her first child with London on da Track
Social media users believe that Walker is expecting a child with London on da Track — a music producer with clients including the Migos, DaBaby, Ariana Grande, and Walker, among others.
It’s unclear when they began dating, but she went public with London on da Track in the summer of 2019. The pair dated off-and-on over the next year before appearing to break up in October, when Walker announced on Instagram, “Officially single lol. Eventually you have to give some kind of a f*ck about yourself,” per The Shade Room.
The same month, she and London on da Track started facing pregnancy rumors after Walker posted images with what fans called a rounder belly. Amid mounting speculation, she denied the rumors, saying in a post shared on her Instagram Story that she was just bloated.
“Y’all weirdos,” she captioned the post. “Who demands a stranger to tell you if [they’re] pregnant. Lol and what kinda creep wants someone else to have a baby that they will never meet or help them raise. & the answer is no b*tch I’m bloated but y’all weird.”
Still, pregnancy rumors have persisted
Despite Walker’s claims, pregnancy speculation has continued. The rumor mill went into overdrive later that month when the mother of one of London on da Track’s three children claimed on Instagram that the “Come Thru” singer was indeed pregnant.
“Summmerrr is pregggnantttt noun noun a boo boo,” said the woman, whose name appears to be Eboni (via Madame Noire). “I said what I said. Yeah Summer pregnant by a [N-word] putting his 3 baby moms on child support currently wit open cases.”
The rumors continued when Erykah Badu’s daughter Puma posted a video of Walker at her house. While she filmed the “Playing Games” singer, Walker turned away from the camera in what social media users argued was a way to conceal her belly. Some people also speculated that Walker could have been at the home seeking guidance from Erykah Badu, who is also a doula. However, neither of them publicly addressed the rumors.
Ultimately, though, it’s Walker’s word against theirs. And even if she is pregnant, it’s totally her business and something she doesn’t have to share until she chooses to.
