Is The Bachelor on tonight, Feb. 15, 2021? Fans are worried after Chris Harrison announced he would step down for the remainder of Matt James’ season. No new trailers are out for the next episode, so viewers want to know if the show is airing on ABC tonight.
‘The Bachelor’ host Chris Harrison stepped down
On Feb. 10, 2021, The Bachelor host Chris Harrison came under fire after defending contestant Rachael Kirkconnell. The woman still vying for Matt James’ heart went to an antebellum plantation-themed fraternity formal in 2018. Harrison called out “cancel culture” instead of racism when speaking about the party to Rachel Lindsay. He apologized after the interview and added that he is stepping aside from the show for an undetermined amount of time.
“This historic season of The Bachelor should not be marred or overshadowed by my mistakes or diminished by my actions,” Harrison wrote on Instagram. “To that end, I have consulted with Warner Bros. and ABC and will be stepping aside for a period of time and will not join for the ‘After the Final Rose’ special.”
He also added that he plans to take this time to educate himself on racism.
“I am dedicated to getting education on a more profound and productive level than ever before,” he continued. “I want to ensure our cast and crew members, to my friends, colleagues, and our fans: this is not just a moment, but a commitment to much greater understanding that I will actively make every day.”
Is ‘The Bachelor’ on tonight, Feb. 15, 2021?
No new trailers for The Bachelor episode 7 are on the show’s social media accounts. They typically share clips and teasers leading up to the episode. However, with the controversy surrounding Harrison, nothing new was shared about the upcoming episode.
However, ABC did post the new trailer on YouTube on Feb. 9, 2021. The preview does not include Chris Harrison except for a voiceover at the end of the clip.
The Bachelor is still scheduled to air tonight, Feb. 15, 2021.

It is also possible that the producers need to edit out footage of Chris Harrison in tonight’s episode. Although the host indicated he is stepping down, the episode for tonight was already filmed. In episode 7, Harrison joins Matt James for his one-on-one date with Jessenia. There are numerous photos of the host with the lead. Will ABC edit out all footage with Harrison? Viewers will have to wait to find out when the episode airs at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
