Why isn’t ‘The Bachelor’ on tonight, Jan. 17, 2022? Will the show return next Monday?

The Bachelor Season 26 with Clayton Echard is not on tonight, thanks to the NFL playoff game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams. The game airs in the usual 8:00 P.M EST time slot The Bachelor typically occupies. This is the first time an NFL playoff game has landed on a Monday night, so it’s understandable fans might be thrown off by tonight’s schedule change.

‘The Bachelor’ Season 26 Episode 3 return date, start time, and when to watch the remaining episodes

The Bachelor returns next Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, in its usual time slot. Plus, it looks like the reality TV series will keep its Monday night time slot for the rest of the season. The episode starts at 8:00 P.M. and fans can watch it on ABC. However, those without traditional cable are still in luck. Hulu streams each episode the day after it airs on ABC.

What to expect in upcoming episodes of ‘The Bachelor’ with Clayton Echard

After The Bachelor returns to its regularly scheduled time on Jan. 24, 2022, the drama picks up again as well. When we last saw Clayton and the women of his season, he had just learned about Cassidy’s texts with a guy back home. After Cassidy told Sierra in secret about her “friends with benefits” back home, Sierra felt like Clayton should know. A preview for the episode implies Clayton takes back Cassidy’s Group Date Rose in episode 2.

The preview also showed the next group date with a Baywatch theme. Clayton and the remaining ladies run on the beach in the iconic Baywatch bathing suits.

According to Reality Steve, Sarah Hamrick gets the next one-on-one date with Clayton while Gabby Windey snags the Group Date Rose. This scores Gabby some extra time with Clayton. Reality Steve didn’t reveal much about Sarah’s one-on-one date, but he said it took place in downtown LA.

Shanae Ankney and Elizabeth Corrigan exchanged heated words in the Jan. 10 episode, and that feud continues into episode 3. Shanae solidifies herself as this season’s villain and continues to isolate herself from the other women in the house. She recently took some heat from fans of The Bachelor after her insensitive words about Elizabeth’s ADHD. It’s unknown if this is why their feud continues.
