Is Tomi Lahren Married?
Tomi Lahren is no stranger to controversy. As an ardent right-wing commentator and Fox News host, Lahren has been in the spotlight for a handful of years. Whether you agree or disagree with her, it’s hard to deny that she has a big personality, and people are wondering about her personal life.
At only 28 years old, Lahren has made it big in her career, but what is her dating life like?
Is Lahren currently dating anyone?
Lahren isn’t married, and isn’t currently dating anyone, though rumors surface from time to time. Most recently, Lahren and NFL quarterback Jay Cutler were seen hanging out together at a Nashville bar. Reports said that they were with friends, but seemed to be really into each other. They reportedly left together afterward.
According to The Sun, though, both Cutler and Lahren denied those rumors. Cutler even took to Instagram with a cheeky video in which he kissed a cow on the cheek and called her the only lady in his life.
Lahren also poked fun, saying that she loves it when the internet tells her who she’s dating. It appears that they were just having some fun with friends. Currently, there are no reports of whom she’s dating, nor have there been any announcements on social media.
Lahren was once engaged to be married
Tomi Lahren and Brandon Fricke were engaged in June 2019. They certainly weren’t shy about the engagement, either. Lahren wore her engagement ring on television, and they both announced it via social media at the time.
Fricke was a professional soccer player who turned his eyes on politics. He ran for Congress in 2020 as an Independent.
After being together for two and a half years, though, they decided to call it quits. According to Daily Mail, Lahren wasn’t ready to settle down. After some soul searching, Lahren and Fricke ended their engagement. Lahren gave Fricke back the engagement ring that he’d bought.
Because he was running for office, Fricke revealed his financial statements. According to those statements, he spent between $15,001 and $50,000 on the engagement ring.
Lahren and Fricke remain friends, according to Lahren. Lahren reportedly wanted to focus on her career, and Fricke supported her in that decision.
What is Lahren’s background?
Lahren joined Fox News as a contributor in August 2017. She now hosts her own show on the network. Lahren graduated from the University of Nevada and applied for a position with OANN, a conservative news network. She was offered her own show. Not long after, she left OANN for The Blaze.
Her commentary sometimes went viral, and she started doing interviews. When she was a guest on The View, she made comments that ran contrary to what The Blaze endorsed and was suspended without pay. After filing a suit for wrongful termination, Lahren moved on to Fox News.
Lahren is a self-described constitutional conservative and is a polarizing figure among both liberals and conservatives. She has advocated for abortion rights, saying that if she believes in limited government, then she can’t support laws that would limit a women’s choice. She has also supported LGBTQ rights for the same reasons.
Both those stances put her in the crosshairs of staunch conservatives. She has also criticized the Black Lives Matter movement, comparing it to the KKK, which has earned her accusations of racism and race-baiting from liberals.
Lahren is very outspoken, and has been accused of being insensitive and hateful, and has earned criticism from even fellow Fox News anchors and contributors.
Lahren, though, never describes herself as a journalist. She’s a commentator who has never wanted to present the news neutrally.
