Like her husband, Isla Fisher is also an award-winning actor

Fisher began acting at a young age. After moving to Australia at the age of six, she began appearing in various television commercials. When she was 9, Fisher made her professional television debut guest-starring in Australian children’s shows Bay City and Paradise Beach.

In 1994, the actor rose to prominence when she landed the role of Shannon Reed on the Australian soap opera Home and Away, which earned her two Logie Award nominations.

Five years after leaving the soap opera, in 1997, Fisher successfully transitioned to Hollywood by co-starring in the 2002 live-action film Scooby-Doo.

Since then, she achieved fame for her roles in movies such as Wedding Crashers, Definitely, Maybe, Confessions of a Shopaholic, The Great Gatsby, and Now You See Me.

Cohen rose to fame in the late 1990s for creating and playing comedic characters Borat Sagdiyev, Ali G, and Brüno Gehard in short skits on Granada Television in the UK.

In 2006, the actor took his characters to the big screen with the box office success Borat before following the film up with Brüno (2009) and The Dictator (2012).

His performances in the comedic films earned Baron Cohen several Emmy Awards and Golden Globe nominations, which resulted in two wins for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for the feature film Borat and its sequel.

In 2021, Baron Cohen received Academy Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for his performance as Abbot “Abbie” Hoffman in The Trial of the Chicago 7.

He also took home two awards at the 2021 Golden Globes for his film Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm, which won Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical and earned him the trophy for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical.
