Jana Duggar Posted About How ‘Brothers Are the Best’ After Jill Duggar Discussed Her Family Rift Publicly
Those who’ve been keeping up with the Duggars know all about Jill Duggar. Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, were once staples on TLC’s Counting On. But the two have since parted ways with the show. Now, Jill’s talking about the alleged family rift that occurred as a result of her leaving the small screen behind.
Oddly enough, after an exclusive interview with Jill was released, Jana Duggar posted about how her “brothers are the best.” Here’s what happened.

The Duggars are ultra-close, so it certainly wasn’t easy for Jill to take a step back from reality TV. Even so, she and Derick knew that continuing with Counting On wasn’t the right choice for them. Despite what the other Duggars thought, Jill decided to go her own way in 2017 — and she’s now talking about it publicly with her YouTube channel and other publications.
“The first few years of our marriage, we spent time and money working towards opportunities only to hit a dead end when we’d be told, ‘Well, you’re not allowed to do that,'” Derick told People in an exclusive interview.
“I never expected this to happen or for it to get to this point,” Jill explained to People. “But I’m realizing I can’t put a timeline on healing. I love my family and they love me. I really just have to follow God’s lead and take it one day at a time.”

While Jill and Derick are speaking their truth about what’s going on between Jill and her family, Jill’s 18 siblings have remained mum on the subject. None of them have posted anything to social media regarding Jill’s interview. But the older Duggar sisters who are close to Jill continue to post and ignore what’s going on in the tabloids.
On Oct. 21, Jana, Jill’s older sister, posted a photo of her and their younger brother, James, to Instagram. “Brothers are the best!” Jana captioned the post. She also added the hashtags “#bestfriends” and “#workingtogether.”
Jana and Jill have never appeared to be at odds, but the timing of the post is notable. And one fan commented, “I think sisters are pretty special too.”
To that, Jana replied, “Yes! Indeed they are!”
Jill mentioned some of her siblings aren’t happy with her decisions
We imagine Jana posted the photo with James just to add a sweet moment to her Instagram depicting her relationship with her brother. But it could be viewed as a slight against Jill due to the photo’s timing. And we can’t forget that Jill told her YouTube followers that some of her siblings aren’t happy with the direction she’s chosen to take her life.
“Are they supportive? Not always,” Jill said of her family. “Everybody’s gonna have their opinion about different things. I feel like some of my siblings are probably more like, have something to say about it than others. … Not all of them are cool with it.”
Despite some of her siblings not supporting her, Jill continues to go her own way and do what’s best for herself and her family. As for Jana, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens when it comes to her relationship with Jill.
