Jane Fonda Announced the Release of Her Latest Book in Paperback With a Selfie at the ‘Grace and Frankie’ Beach House
Jane Fonda has starred as Grace on the Netflix series Grace and Frankie since the series began in 2015. The award winning actor has proven she can tackle almost any genre, from romance, to comedy, to drama. Fonda is also a talented writer and a political activist. Last year Fonda released her book What Can I Do? My Path from Climate Despair to Action about the looming dangers of climate change. In a recent Instagram selfie, Fonda announced the release of her book in paperback. Fans were excited to notice that Fonda is on the beach house set of Grace and Frankie in the picture.

What Can I Do? is far from the first book Fonda has ever written. In her earlier days, Fonda authored several fitness and lifestyle books. Her autobiography My Life So Far was a #1 New York Times Bestseller. Fonda also stepped into the ring of political activism long ago.
Time Magazine states that Fonda has publicly supported the Black Panthers, championed several Native American causes, protested the Vietnam War, and spoken out against Donald Trump. She also fights for legislation to combat climate change. She and her Grace and Frankie co-star Sam Waterston were arrested several years ago at a climate change rally.
Fonda’s latest book
Fonda released her latest book in September of last year. According to Google Books, What Can I Do? is a call to action “urging us to wake up to the looming disaster of climate change and equipping us with the tools we need to join her in protest.” Fonda covers a variety of issues in her book to help readers get started in combating the climate crisis.
Proceeds for the book are donated to the environmental organization, Greenpeace. Recently, Fonda announced that her book will be available in paperback. Fans were excited by the selfie she posted for more reasons than one.

To announce the release of What Can I Do? in paperback, Jane Fonda posted a selfie with the book to her Instagram and Twitter. Many eagle-eyed fans were excited to notice that the picture was taken at a familiar location. “I love that she took this on set of Grace and Frankie,” one fan commented on Instagram.
The selfie in the Grace and Frankie beach house got fans excited for the release of the final episodes of season 7. The first four episodes of season 7 dropped to Netflix last month. According to Entertainment Weekly, the remaining episodes will be released sometime in 2022. Production for the season was delayed back in 2020 due to coronavirus (COVID-19), but it looks like things are now back on track. Hopefully, Fonda and the rest of the cast will continue to keep fans updated.
