During season 19 of Sister Wives, Janelle Brown’s been very vocal against Kody Brown, when she once supported him the most out of all of his wives other than Robyn Brown. Janelle always defended Kody’s actions, but now, she’s dropping one truth bomb after another.
One of the most surprising moments of the season was when Janelle called out Kody for spending excessively as she and her daughter Madison looked at properties to purchase. She was taking mental notes of all of Kody and Robyn’s purchases, and filing them away until she could use the information to her advantage.
She spoke of the artwork and other items in Kody and Robyn’s house, calling out the couple for spending family money needlessly. She’s looking for a payout not only for the money she invested in the family’s Coyote Pass property but the investment she made in the down payment of Robyn and Kody’s home in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Fans want Janelle Brown to hold Kody Brown’s feet to the fire
In a Reddit post fans want Janelle Brown to hold Kody Brown’s feet to the fire. They believe Janelle’s trust bond was broken, and they want justice.
“I absolutely agree. I’m here for it. When you violate the trust and faithfulness of a good woman, you deserve everything you get,” wrote one follower.
“I think Janelle implicitly trusted Cody for years and didn’t think he was taking advantage of her financially – she left him for different reasons. Now that her eyes are open to how much he abused her trust and her finances, the gloves are off,” a second fan penned.
A third fan noted, “I am here for every single minute of it. Kody has kept them sweet and quiet long enough. It’s their time to tell their truth.”
Finally, a fourth fan claimed, “Yeah, when Janelle said she would go to Robyn’s and see crap around and think ‘OK’ it reminded me of how Janelle could fit everything she owns in a fifth wheel. That has to get any woman fired up.”
Janelle is enjoying her independence
After 30 years of marriage, Janelle Brown confessed she is enjoying her independence. She revealed she was not interested in dating at the moment and is happy to be away from “complicated” Kody Brown.
She said, “At this point, I’m still just not interested in dating. I was married to Kody for 30 years. And Kody is a complicated person.”
Janelle continued, “There’s a lot of like what Robyn used to call the ‘rollercoaster ride.’ I don’t want to do that anymore. I just want to be me and do me and like pursue my own things.”
Today, Janelle enjoys the freedom to do what she wants, when she wants, without having to answer to Kody. Most importantly, she can pursue her life’s passions.
Thus, Janelle and her daughter Maddie Brush, and son-in-law Caleb, have started a new business venture, Taeda Farms. The company motto is “building beauty from the ground up.”
