From March 2001 to January 2007, Segel and his Freaks and Geeks co-star Linda Cardellini dated. Segel was also rumored to have had flings with Drew Barrymore, Chloë Sevigny, Michelle Ryan, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Lindsay Lohan. Later, Segel and Greatest Showman star Michelle Williams dated from 2012 to 2013.
“He is nice — I didn’t actually realize who he was before I started dating him,” Williams told the New York Daily News. “I didn’t realize he was so tall [6’4″].” Williams and Segel eventually ended things because he lived in California and Williams had already established a life with her daughter in New York. According to her website, Mixter is originally from New England. She moved to New York City in 2001 after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art. In 2009, Mixter moved to Southern California to study street art. There, Mixter broke away from painting and explored more natural mediums, like wood. Her current artwork is for sale on her site.

It’s unclear when the comedy star began dating the artist. The Daily Mail spotted the duo together in New York City in 2018 and reported the couple started dating sometime in January of 2015.
Segel isn’t very active on social media. Mixter is, but she doesn’t share much of her personal life in her posts. But in 2019, she did share a series of photos of herself with Segel. “I don’t take many pictures of us so here’s a few that make me feel really happy and lucky to have someone like this man in my life,” Mixter wrote. “We are so blessed. It hasn’t always been easy but love makes it all worth it.”
Mixter and Segel are still together today. She celebrated Segel’s 40th birthday in January of 2020 with a sweet Instagram post. “I’m a day late because yesterday was spent celebrating you, the way it should be, unplugged and surrounded by friends and family,” she wrote in her caption. “In your 40 years on this Earth you’ve done so much and come so far. I’m inspired by you every day and you’ve taught me that my heart is big enough to hold more love than I ever imagined.”
