Jax Taylor From ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Throws Shade at Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s Relationship
Vanderpump Rules season 8 began with friendships falling apart. As the women on the show try to figure out what is going on with Kristen Doute and her breakup from boyfriend Brian Carter, Jax Taylor had his own struggle.
Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are in wedding planning mode on the show. He tapped Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval to be his “best men.” However, Taylor doesn’t think Sandoval is very committed to his role. Taylor takes it personally when Sandoval chooses to visit his mother for Mother’s Day over Taylor’s pre-bachelor party. Taylor also becomes frustrated when he can’t seem to get Sandoval to respond to his text messages.
As a result, he “demotes” Sandoval from “best man” to groomsman. During the episode, Sandoval also shares with girlfriend Ariana Madix that it seems like Taylor wants to “one-up” him at every turn. Although Sandoval was still in Taylor’s wedding, it doesn’t appear as though the two are on solid ground.
Taylor comes for Sandoval and Madix on ‘WWHL’
Taylor and Cartwright appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen after the season premiere. When the conversation shifted toward the BravoCon, Taylor became prickly when talking about Sandoval. The couple recalled that Sandoval took Cohen’s tequila during the event. “FYI, I’m not supposed to tell, but since Sandoval wants to blow me up, he took your tequila,” Taylor says to Cohen during the WWHL After Show. “You had a stash of tequila in the back. Well, it was gone because of him.”
While Cohen notes more tequila came, Taylor didn’t seem finished trashing Sandoval and also shaded Madix. A caller wondered if Sandoval was jealous of Taylor and the others since they were all getting married and having kids. Madix expressed having no interest in having children or getting married. But the couple recently purchased a home together.
As the caller speaks, Taylor mutters that Madix is a lesbian under his breath. “Don’t say that,” Cartwright tells him. Cohen asks, “Why you think Ariana likes women?” Although Taylor apologizes, Cartwright clarifies. “She likes everybody like most of us do!”
But Taylor doubles down
As Cartwright speaks, Taylor grins. “Yeah, just own it. Don’t lie about it.” But Cohen seems confused asking Taylor if Madix lies about it. Although he says “no” Cartwright throws up her hand in his direction gesturing to him to be quiet.
“I’m sorry. I have a hard time with him coming at me because I bought a house,” Taylor admits. “Because I got married. And he’s coming at me because he bought a house because I bought a house. Am I not allowed to buy a house? And he went at me.” But Cohen says that’s not what Sandoval was saying. “You were trying to one-up him regarding your house,” Cohen points out.
“How am I trying to one-up him? His house is bigger than mine,” Taylor insists. Taylor seems confused but then admits he didn’t watch the episode. He continues by saying, “What am I supposed to do, sit around and not start a family?” Madix responded by shutting Taylor down on Twitter. “Ya… i do like women and men. it’s called being bisexual. ever heard of it?”
