Jenelle Evans Under CPS Investigation After Boyfriend’s 911 Call and Son’s School Trouble
Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is once again allegedly in trouble with Child Protective Services. Jenelle made waves with her highly-publicized split from David Eason and her move from North Carolina to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, CPS is now involved following her boyfriend’s 911 phone call in August 2024 and school trouble for her son, Kaiser. Here’s what to know.
Jenelle Evans allegedly ‘doesn’t want any legal action against her’ after trouble with CPS again
Jenelle Evans is making headlines once again after moving to Las Vegas. The Teen Mom star hoped for a fresh start following her legal battles with David Eason. Unfortunately, she’s now allegedly under CPS investigation.
According to The U.S. Sun, trouble for Evans started when her boyfriend, August Keen, accused her of abuse after she drank 12 alcoholic beverages in August 2024. Additionally, child protective services received alerts of two additional instances involving her sons, Jace, 15, and Kaiser, 10, at their schools. Kaiser allegedly can no longer attend his school due to the incident. Jenelle recently confirmed that she sent Kaiser to live with his paternal grandmother in Tennessee.
“CPS is involved, and Jenelle doesn’t want any legal action against her, that’s partially why she suddenly sent Kaiser to his grandmother’s,” the insider told The U.S. Sun.
The insider added that CPS paid Jenelle a visit at her Vegas rental home after the school incident involving Kaiser. “A CPS card was left on her door that she needed to call them because she wasn’t there,” the insider alleged. “Within 72 hours of that card being left, she had Kaiser on the road. She didn’t tell him why because she didn’t want him to say anything before she got him out of the state.”
Kaiser’s grandmother, Doris Davidson, told the publication that she wants to “protect” Kaiser from the “negativity” online. “Kaiser can now read and he doesn’t need to read negative things about his mother or father,” she said.
Jenelle Evans’ kids, Kaiser and Ensley, allegedly mysteriously missed school
In October 2024, a source told The U.S. Sun that Jenelle Evans’ kids, Kaiser, 10, and Ensley, 7, weren’t in school for a large portion of the week. Instead, an eyewitness spotted the children playing outside without Jenelle.
“Both of the younger kids were out playing in the street in front of Jenelle’s home pretty much all day on Thursday and Friday of last week,” the insider said. Kaiser was allegedly riding his electric scooter while Ensley rode her bike.
“They were outside from about 8:30 ’til around 11:30 am and were kind of all over the neighborhood,” the witness continued. “They seemed to be riding around the blocks and going to a neighbor’s home and coming back.”
Despite the unusual sight, the source added that the kids looked “happy and healthy.” Jenelle’s reps did not comment on the story to The U.S. Sun.
The ‘Teen Mom’ star’s oldest son, Jace, is allegedly unhappy with the move to Vegas
While Jenelle Evans wanted a fresh start in Las Vegas with her three kids and without David Eason, her oldest son, Jace, 15, allegedly didn’t want to move. A source told The U.S. Sun in July 2024 that Jace hated the idea of moving and felt “lonely.”
“They’re moving to a gated community, and where she is going, it’s gated for a reason,” the insider alleged. “Jace doesn’t want to move, he hates it, he’s not happy, and he’s lonely. He thinks Vegas is too hot, that it’s miserable, and worst of all, he has to start all over again there.”
The source added that Jace felt happy to continue life in North Carolina without David, as that’s where his childhood friends were. Unfortunately, the teen felt shocked by the plan to move.
“She didn’t ask him, she just went and signed a lease and told the kids, ‘We’re moving to Vegas,'” the source continued.
