While the former Teen Mom star has done many appalling things over the years, fans and followers were floored when they learned she had dropped her 10-year-old son off to live with his paternal grandmother, only to pick him back up weeks later. Nathan Griffith opens up about Kaiser and Jenelle Evans’ custody drama
Nathan Griffith is speaking out against Jenelle Evans and has a lot of thoughts about what should happen with his son, Kaiser Griffith. In a chat with the U.S. Sun, Griffith opened up about his ex dropping their shared son off to his paternal grandmother only to turn around and pick him up weeks later because she was angry.
Nathan revealed that he was initially happy that Evans had brought the boy to live with his grandmother. He said he hoped he’d could have his probation transferred to Tennessee so he could be close to Kaiser. Griffith said he was excited to support the boy while reconnecting with his family. That hope was dashed when Evans inexplicable picked her second oldest child up from his new living situation, claiming Griffith’s mother started “drama.”
Evans hasn’t spoken out about the impulsive decision. Her boyfriend, August Keen, however, has. Keen suggested Evans pulled Kaiser back to Las Vegas because Doris Davidson, Nathan Griffith’s mother and Kaiser’s grandmother, was talking to the media and causing trouble. Davidson made just one public statement about Kaiser, which was relatively neutral. It is unclear if more was going on behind the scenes.
Nathan Griffith thinks Jenelle Evans should be investigated
Nathan Griffith seems pretty annoyed with Evans and is concerned for his son. He told the outlet that he was initially hopeful that his mother, Doris Davidson, would be able to give Kaiser the one-on-one attention he needs to get on the right track. Griffith theorized that Kaiser may be acting out because he is being neglected, a concern that Teen Mom fans share.
Griffith would like to see his son return to Tennessee to live with Davidson if he had his way. It’s all wishful thinking at the moment. Griffith has minimal sway over what Evans does unless CPS gets involved. The father of two, who admitted to having a loose connection to his son in recent years, doesn’t think government agencies are doing enough to investigate his ex-fiancee. He thinks the goings-on in her home have led to his son to act out. He wants CPS to dig into the situation and make a determination in Kaiser’s best interest.
