Jenelle Evans’ Instagram Activity Suggests Her Move to Las Vegas Was a Big Mistake
The Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star appeared to be coming into her own following her separation from David Eason. That has changed, though. Things are looking bleak again. A recent sting of social media uploads suggests Jenelle Evans isn’t happy in Las Vegas, and it appears her problems are directly related to the new man in her life.
When and why did Jenelle Evans move to Las Vegas?
Evans spent several weeks teasing a potential move from North Carolina before finally revealing her new home. Initial reports suggested the mother of three was looking to move to Florida. Later, she landed in Las Vegas, Nevada, a choice that Teen Mom: The Next Chapter fans questioned since it took her eldest son, Jace Evans, very far away from his grandmother and friends.
Evans insisted that she was moving to The Silver State to escape David Eason, fearing that he was unstable. Fans familiar with Evans’ antics are convinced she moved west specifically to be closer to her manager turned love interest, August Keen. It is unclear just how long she’s been living in the state full-time, but Evans and her kids have been spotted in Las Vegas starting in late May. Ensley Eason and Kaiser Griffith, Evans’ two younger children, started school in the state in August.
‘Teen Mom’ fans think Jenelle Evans’ move to Vegas was a big mistake
Teen Mom: The Next Chapter fans have long suggested Evans’ sudden move from North Carolina to Nevada was a big mistake. If Evans’ Instagram stories indicate her mood, she thinks it was a mistake, too. Over the holiday weekend, Evans took to Instagram and Facebook to bemoan her current situation.
First, she took to Facebook to tell her followers they needed to remind her that she only needed her kids to be happy. It was the first indication that things between Evans and August Keen were not going well. Later that day, she took to Instagram to insist she was single, was not dating August Keen, and was doing well but needed “new friends.”
Keen and Evans have unfollowed each other again. It is the second time the “friends” have unfollowed each other in the last 30 days. The instability of the relationship, the far-flung nature of the new locale, and Evans’ indecisiveness all suggest the move to Vegas was not only a waste of money but a huge waste of time.
Is a move back to North Carolina possible?
Jenelle Evans has yet to suggest she’s planning to move back to North Carolina anytime soon. Still, it seems entirely possible that she’ll be heading home sooner rather than later, especially if her current situationship is as unstable as it appears to be. It is not the first time Evans has moved states, and it won’t be the first time she ran back to North Carolina when things didn’t work out.
In late 2019, Evans moved from North Carolina to Nashville, Tennessee, during a separation from David Eason. The move lasted only a few months. By mid-2020, she had moved back to the house she owned with David Eason in North Carolina. She still owns the property despite living thousands of miles from it at the moment.
