Jace Evans’ Living Situation Has Changed After Another Runaway Attempt; Jenelle Evans Calls 911
Jenelle Evans’ month has gone from bad to worse. The Teen Mom 2 alum is being dragged on social media for most of her recent decisions. Still, that’s the least of her troubles. More custody drama for the mother of three will likely be coming up. Reports suggest Jace Evans, Jenelle’s eldest son, has once again been removed from her care after another runaway attempt.
Jace Evans has been removed from Jenelle Evans’ home
The living situation for Jenelle Evans’ children just got a bit more complicated. Jace Evans isn’t living with Jenelle Evans at the moment. According to a 911 call obtained by The Ashley Reality Roundup Group, Evans called emergency services last weekend after her teen son disappeared for the second time in 24 hours. Evans told dispatchers that the 15-year-old had smashed several doors in the home before leaving and becoming unreachable.
Evans tells the 911 dispatcher that she knows her son smokes marijuana and that she believes he drinks alcohol when she is not around. She did not detail any additional drug use. Jace has since been located, but he won’t be heading home to Jenelle Evans anytime soon, according to The Ashley. It is unclear where the teen is currently staying.
The ‘Teen Mom’ alum has had plenty of other drama, too
Jace’s most recent runaway attempt and the recording of Evans’ 911 call could not come at a worse time for the Teen Mom 2 alum. Jenelle’s month kicked off with the publication of a 911 call from her boyfriend, August Keen. In the call, Keen accuses Evans of drinking heavily, using pills, smoking marijuana, and hitting him.
From there, the month just got worse for Evans. A short time after Keen’s call to 911 was published, media outlets revealed that Evans had ditched her 10-year-old son, Kaiser Griffith. She secretly left him with his paternal grandmother after serious trouble at school. Days later, news broke that the mother of three had not been asked to return for Teen Mom: The Next Chapter season 3. She also returned to Tennessee to pick up Kaiser, claiming Doris Davidson, the boy’s grandmother, was causing “drama.” Nathan Griffith, Kaiser’s father, has since spoken out.
Jace Evans has been reported as a runaway multiple times
Jace has a history of running away since being placed in Evans’ custody in March 2023. He ran away thrice while living with Evans and her now-estranged husband, David Eason. His final runaway attempt while residing on “the land” came in September 2023 after Eason reportedly physically attacked the teen.
Following the assault, Jace was placed back with his grandmother, Barbara Evans. Eason was charged with child abuse. Jace was staying with his grandmother for several uneventful weeks when he also disappeared from her house. After that, CPS dealt with his living situation. He was moved to several undisclosed locations while dealing with CPS.
Jace was returned to his mother in February 2024 after David Eason moved out of the family’s North Carolina home. He moved with Evans and his siblings to Las Vegas in May. Reports suggest the teen was unhappy with the sudden change.
This situation is still developing.
