Jennifer Aniston is indisputably one of America’s favorite actresses; Aniston has been winning over fans’ hearts since she first appeared on the small screen as Rachel Green in Friends. Aniston — with a glowing personality, and glowing skin to boot — is the emblem of perfection.

Aniston is funny, clever, talented, beautiful, and powerful. Not to mention, she frequently speaks out against the sexism in Hollywood, especially surrounding romantic involvements occurring within Tinseltown’s borders. However, the actress may not be as perfect as you think! She has one creepy habit that she likely shares with most of her fanbase; however, not many would admit to it…

Jennifer Aniston sat down for an interview a year or so back to discuss her film career, as well as her personal life. When she and the interviewer reached the topic of social media, Jennifer Aniston revealed a “creepy” tidbit of information about her personal stalker habits.

How Jennifer Aniston creeps on social media

Jennifer Aniston told the interviewer that she does not have social media accounts of her own; however, she finds a way to look up people when she’s interested. Aniston stated:

I don’t have Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram accounts. I will totally admit that I can dip into Instagram and sort of be a secret voyeur. I’m a creeper.

Jennifer Aniston becomes a “secret voyeur” on social media, typing in friends’ names to figure out what’s going on in their lives, without ever contributing to the social media frenzy, despite the fact that the actress would immediately garner millions of followers. She went on to explain why she doesn’t have social media accounts. Aniston stated:

There are times when I’ll look through and think, “Oh my god, what a time suck!” I’ve been with people who spend maybe an hour figuring out this one post, and you’re like,
“That just took up an hour of your life, and it’s gone in 60 seconds.”

It feels like we are losing connection. I think we’re losing conversation. It’s hard enough being a teenager and feeling like you fit in … Now we’re actively creating an environment and a platform for you to tell someone, “I like you” or “I don’t like you.” That seems like an unhealthy formula for already-insecure adolescents. We’re pouring fuel on a fire.

Jennifer Aniston steps away from social media, for she does not endorse the environment it condones and elicits, which isn’t the worst reason for abstaining from the various platforms.

Not to mention, Jennifer Aniston is always hounded by paparazzi; thus, if you’re interested in what’s going on in the celebrity’s life, you just have to pick up the latest edition of People. However, take everything you read about her with a grain of salt!

Jennifer Aniston still has time to get on social media, but she doesn’t seem interested. If she were to join, she would likely create an account to champion a social or political cause that she feels passionate about.
