Affleck is reportedly no longer living with Lopez in their mansion. Instead, he lives in a $100,000 monthly rental unit near Garner, and he reportedly sees Garner frequently due to their kids. Some sources claim that Garner helps Affleck with his marital issues with Lopez.
So, what does Garner think of seeing headlines about her ex-husband and his famous wife? She told Stellar Magazine that she hates seeing her loved ones in the press, including Affleck.
“I really work hard not to see either of us in the press,” she told the publication, according to Elle. “It doesn’t make me feel good, even if it’s something nice about one of us. I just try to forget that I’m out there in any way, and the same with anyone I love. I don’t need to see anyone in my family made into a meme.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner seemed to have maintained a friendship through the years. However, Lopez may not like that Affleck confides in Garner. A source alleged to OK! Magazine that Garner is scared that Affleck’s conflicts with Lopez will cause him to “spiral,” and Lopez “hates” that Affleck seeks out Garner for “support.”
“[Garner] would never tell Ben, ‘I told you it wouldn’t work out,’ but she does blame J. Lo for the pressure she’s put Ben under,” the source alleged. “She has dropped everything to make sure Ben doesn’t spiral out of control again. At the end of the day, Ben is still the father of their children, and she will help him however she can.”
The insider added that Lopez “doesn’t want” Garner’s input. “J. Lo hates that Ben goes back to his sensible, down-to-earth ex-wife for advice and emotional support,” the source added.
Of course, this is just one source. Other sources claim that Garner encourages Affleck to work through his issues with Lopez.

While Jennifer Lopez seems to love the spotlight, Ben Affleck doesn’t. According to sources, this fundamental difference between them is one of the biggest drivers in their alleged upcoming divorce.
“They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention,” an insider told People. “Ben hates all attention, and it makes him very uncomfortable. Jennifer has always had a different approach.”
The source added that while Affleck is “impressed” by Lopez’s work ethic, he doesn’t want to share his life so publicly. Affleck is more “introspective and private,” whereas Lopez likes connecting with fans. “Even though he admires that about her, it doesn’t make him happy and causes stress in his life and then in hers,” the insider continued. “There is no question their different styles clash.”
