Jennifer Garner Is ‘Open to the Idea’ of Ben Affleck Moving Back Into Her Home, Source Says
After Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez broke up in the early 2000s, Affleck moved on with Jennifer Garner. They had a wonderful marriage for over a decade and have three kids together. Now, Garner is reportedly helping her ex with his marital issues with Lopez. Here’s what a source said about Garner potentially being “open to the idea” of Affleck moving back into her home during his struggles.
Ben Affleck can ‘come and go as he pleases’ to Jennifer Garner’s home, a source claims
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner sustained a friendship after their divorce. The Hollywood elites tied the knot in 2005 and finalized their divorce in 2018. They live close to each other in 2024, as Affleck regularly spends time with the three children they share. While Affleck was living in a $60 million Beverly Hills mansion with his wife, Jennifer Lopez, he reportedly moved out into a $100,000 Brentwood rental.
Affleck has been spotted at Garner’s home multiple times amid rumors that he and Lopez are planning to divorce. A source told Life & Style that Affleck has a key to Garner’s house — and she might consider allowing him to move back in.
“He’s got a key to come and go as he pleases, and he’s been spending a ton of time at her place, coming over for dinners and hanging with the kids,” the insider alleged. “It’s great for his state of mind and the kids love having him around,” the source noted, adding that this is “why Jen’s open to the idea of having him move back in.”
Garner has been dating her boyfriend, John Miller, for several years. Rumors suggest the couple plans to get more serious about their relationship soon. However, Garner’s house has so much extra room that Affleck could conceivably stay there and not get in the couple’s way. “He wouldn’t be in her way, and she knows it would bring a lot of comfort to their kids,” the source added.
Jennifer Garner allegedly doesn’t want to continue helping Ben Affleck with his issues with Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Garner has helped Ben Affleck through his marriage issues with Jennifer Lopez. Affleck trusts Garner, as he knows his ex-wife doesn’t judge. However, she might be finished assisting her ex-husband. A source told DailyMail.com that Garner finds it “painful” to help Affleck through his marital issues, given their shared past.
“Jen eventually got to a place where she was like, ‘Sorry, figure this out yourself,’” the source alleged. “It was beginning to become too painful for her because it was bringing back so many memories of their divorce.”
The insider added that Garner doesn’t want to play “marriage counselor” to the couple anymore.
“But in the end, it is not Jen’s circus, not Jen’s monkeys, and she is done playing marriage counselor to her ex-husband and his wife,” they said.
He’s reportedly been looking at property in Los Angeles
Will Ben Affleck really move into Jennifer Garner’s home? He hasn’t spoken about the matter. However, as of May 2024, a source told Page Six they spotted Affleck house hunting in Los Angeles. Jennifer Lopez is also reportedly looking at properties.
Additionally, Lopez and Affleck plan to sell their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion that they purchased in 2023. A source told TMZ that the couple wants around $65 million for their place. The 38,000-square-foot home boasts 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 12-car garage, a sports complex, and a pool.
