Now, Garner reportedly helps Affleck navigate his marital woes with Jennifer Lopez. While Lopez and Affleck have only been married for two years, sources close to the couple claim they’re on the fast track to divorce due to compatibility issues.
Affleck reportedly consults with Garner regarding his failing marriage. As for Garner, she’s not letting her ex-husband or Lopez bring down her summer. On July 9, 2024, she posted photos and video clips of her whitewater rafting in Montana.
“Thank you, summer,” Garner captioned the post.
In addition to a photo and a video clip of Garner on the water, she included photos of mountains, waterfalls, and luscious greenery. Another clip shows the country group Old Dominion playing with concertgoers waving American flags and wearing red, white, and blue. It’s possible Garner took the Montana trip to celebrate the Fourth of July.
Affleck reportedly spent the Fourth of July in Los Angeles, while Lopez spent the holiday in the Hamptons in New York.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez haven’t spoken about the divorce rumors that plague them. However, the rumors continued to ramp up after they publicly listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale. The couple paid $60,850,000 for the home in May 2023, and they listed it for $68 million.
A source told People that Affleck and Lopez received “very little initial interest” on the house when they privately listed it for sale. For that reason, they went public.
“After privately showing the house for a few weeks, they had very little interest,” a source said. “Publicly listing it was the next natural step.”
Celebrity real estate agent and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Altman told People why celebrities prefer to sell their properties privately.
“Selling your house is a very public thing on many different levels,” Altman explained. “Everybody has access to information these days on the internet. People can find out how you live from pictures. They get to know how your house sits, what rooms look like. It’s actually a pretty invasive process, in general.”

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck frequently see each other, as they share three children. Additionally, Affleck has been living out of a $100,000 rental close to Garner. A separate source said Garner is tired of helping Affleck with his marriage issues. “Jen eventually got to a place where she was like, ‘Sorry, figure this out yourself,’” a source told DailyMail.com. “It was beginning to become too painful for her because it was bringing back so many memories of their divorce.”
