Jennifer Lawrence has a reputation for not only being incredibly talented and beautiful, but also incredibly relatable. The Hunger Games actress is everyone’s favorite down-to-earth, Hollywood sweetheart. And proving once again that she’s just like us, Lawrence also has an obsession with the Kardashians. In fact, the extent of her relationship with the family may surprise you. But if you think Kim Kardashian is her favorite Kardashian, think again.

Everyone loves reality TV, and that includes Lawrence. Her absolute favorite show is Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
In fact, during the filming of 2017 movie, Mother!, Lawrence kept a “Kardashian Tent” on set where she could decompress from the seriousness of her role.
“I had to go to a darker place than I’ve ever been in my life,” she told Vogue about her role in Mother!. “I didn’t know if I’d be able to come out OK.”
But the Kardashians provided Lawrence with the perfect way to calm down and reconnect with herself. “It was a tent that had pictures of the Kardashians and Keeping Up With the Kardashians playing on a loop,” Lawrence said of her space on set. “And gumballs. My happy place.”
Once again, Lawrence proves that she’s just like us. We can all relate to using the Kardashians, or any reality TV show, to decompress from a hard day.
Lawrence has even made a cameo on the show. During a painting session with Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick last season, the pair called their “momager” Kris Jenner for her input on the artwork. But instead of Jenner answering the phone, they got Lawrence, who appeared to be in the middle of a wine sesh with Jenner.
After joking around with the group, Lawrence ends the call by saying: “I love you all so much and you make me proud every day.”

Not only is Lawrence a big fan of the Kardashians, but she’s also a friend. When Lawrence guest-hosted the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, she shared just how close she’s been to the family.
While interviewing Kim Kardashian, Lawrence brought up the time she’d had dinner with Jenner. “I drank five martinis and ended up naked in her closet,” she told the crowd. “I’m dead serious.”
Kardashian laughed and shared her version of events. “So Jennifer came over for dinner two weeks ago and I’ve never seen my mom more drunk in my life,” she said.
“I remember getting naked in your mom’s closet and ordering you to dress me,” Lawrence told Kardashian.
It sounds like Lawrence and Jenner had quiet the night together. But despite the age difference, these two are great friends. They even swapped gifts at Christmas: Lawrence gave Jenner a Porsche.
Admittedly, it was a toy Porsche car. The perfect size for the grandkids to play on, but it was still a Porsche. Jenner was so excited about the gift, she even shared a photo with her Instagram followers.

With all this evidence, it’s easy to see that Lawrence is a fan and a friend of the Kardashian family. But thanks to Vanity Fair, we also got a clue about her favorite Kardashian.
The media outlet gave Lawrence a lie detector test, where they asked if Kim was her favorite Kardashian. Unfortunately for Kim Kardashian, Lawrence grimaced and then shook her head. Indicating that the aspiring lawyer is not her favorite Kardashian.
Of course, that leaves everyone wondering who Lawrence’s favorite is. However, looking through her history with the family, one member stands out above all the rest: Kris Jenner.
Almost every significant moment of Lawrence with the Kardashians involves Jenner. In fact, when asked by Vanity Fair’s Yohana Desta which Kardashian she was closest with, Lawrence answered Jenner.
“I guess probably Kris,” she said, “She’s everyone’s guiding light, is she not? I text with her.”
