Over the last several months, there’s been no escaping the chatter about marital issues and divorce rumors surrounding Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck‘s relationship. Anytime the “Jenny From the Block” artist was spotted without her engagement ring those rumors only intensified, especially when she replaced that sparkler with a different ring. But it was later confirmed that the new rock was also from Affleck and some even began referring to it as her “third engagement ring.”

However, on Aug. 20, multiple outlets reported that Lopez filed for divorce from her husband of two years.

Now, we’re taking a look back at the gorgeous rings J.Lo got from the Air star and their eye-popping price tags.

Ring #1: Price of Lopez’s 6-carat pink diamond

Affleck’s first engagement ring to J.Lo was a huge 6.10-carat, radiant cut, pink diamond from Harry Winston. When the Good Will Hunting actor purchased that ring more than 20 years ago, some reports put the cost at $1.2 million.

Managing director Zack Stone for the jewelry retailer Steven Stone spoke about how the value of Lopez’s colored-diamond ring has increased greatly.

“There are certain types of diamonds which can make good investments. These include pink diamonds, which are much rarer and generally very expensive, starting from £50,000($60,000 USD) to around £10 million ($12.7 million),” Stone explained.

“Pink diamonds have seen the biggest growth in value recently as the Argyle Diamond Mine in Western Australia, the world’s major source for pink and purple stones, closed down at the end of 2020. Therefore, prices have increased in recent months due to the increased rarity.”

Stone estimates that today the ring would be worth around $2.8 million.

Ring #2: Price of J.Lo’s natural green diamond

Lopez and Affleck didn’t make it down the aisle the first time around, but two decades later they decided to give things shot and tied the knot then. This time, the Gone Girl star gave his bride-to-be an even bigger rock.

The second engagement ring is a massive natural green diamond show stopper.

Stone said: “Jennifer Lopez’s engagement ring is sensational. With an incredibly vivid color, it looks like it could be a natural green diamond that’s been enhanced using HPHT temperature treatment, which is a well-known method to change the color of a diamond. I’ve never seen a diamond quite like it.

“Just like the pink diamond engagement ring she received from Ben Affleck previously, this ring is worth millions. The center stone is an estimated 9 to 10 carats, with an elongated cushion cut. It also looks to feature two tapered baguettes, making this a three-stone ring. Taking all this into consideration, this is no doubt the most expensive engagement ring we’ve seen in a long time, with an estimated value of over $3 million.”

Ring #3: Price of her yellow cushion cut diamond

How Many Times Has Jennifer Lopez Been Married?

In January 2024, the Atlas star showed off a new piece of bling at Paris Fashion Week. She donned a large yellow diamond on that finger, indicating that it was another ring from Affleck which many dubbed the “third engagement ring.”

“Lopez appears to have added another impressive engagement ring to her collection — and it comes as no surprise that it features ANOTHER rare diamond,” Stone noted at the time, adding, “The ring’s center stone is a fancy yellow cushion cut diamond, which is likely to be around 8 carats. Yellow diamonds are incredibly rare, with only around 0.1% of all naturally occurring diamonds exhibit a yellow color.

“The center stone is in a halo setting — further accentuating the ring’s sparkle — and is flanked by two side stones. I’d estimate Jen’s new piece of bling to be worth approximately $500,000 — making it her least valuable engagement ring from Ben.”

Lopez’s decision to file for divorce from Affleck didn’t come as a huge shock to her fans considering how long the rumors about their marital woes have been swirling. However, some were a bit surprised to learn that in court documents, she listed their date of separation as April 26, 2024. They have had quite a few public appearances together since then, leading many to believe that they tried to work on their relationship but their happily ever after just wasn’t meant to be.
