Jennifer Lopez Gets the Cosmetic Procedure She’s Always Wanted Following Her Split From Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made headlines for months over reports that they were having marital troubles. Then in August, as rumors and speculation that their marriage was ending hit a fever pitch, the “On the Floor” hitmaker officially filed for divorce from her husband of two years.
Since the news broke, J.Lo has not shied away from the limelight. She’s been photographed out and about on several occasions and even attended red carpet events solo. Now, it’s been that reported following her split from Affleck she finally got the one cosmetic procedure she always wanted but put off while she was still married.

Lopez says she needs to ‘be on her own’ and is not looking for anyone now amid divorce
Although Lopez and Affleck were spotted together at the Beverly Hills Hotel after they separated, sources clarified they have not reconciled and are moving forward with their divorce.
In September, Lopez had a candid conversation with comedian Nikki Glaser for a piece in Interview Magazine. The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” artist opened up about how turbulent last summer had been for her and realizing that “being in a relationship doesn’t define” who she is.
“You have to be complete if you want something that’s more complete. You have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn’t,” Lopez confessed. “Then, this summer, I had to be like, ‘I need to go off and be on my own.’ I want to prove to myself that I can do that.”
J.Lo continued: “It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate. But when you sit in those feelings and go, ‘These things are not going to kill me,’ it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself. Being in a relationship doesn’t define me. I can’t be looking for happiness in other people. I have to have happiness within myself.”

A source close to Lopez told RadarOnline that since that star has been focusing on herself, she got a procedure she has wanted for a very long time and that is LASIK eye surgery.
The Selena actor reportedly delayed getting it previously in order to focus on her marriage, but now is happy she’s able to see everything in 20/20.
“Jen wanted to ditch the glasses and contacts,” the source added. “[She’s] aiming for a fresh start and a new outlook on life. She decided it was time to do something just for herself, and what better way to kick off this new phase than by literally seeing the world more clearly?”
According to the publication, Lopez is expected to get a few more procedures as well as she does “what millions of other divorcees do. Getting a glow-up after their splits. But she has millions at her disposal, and is determined to look better than ever — so Ben will see what he is missing.”
