After months of speculation, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially headed for divorce. The couple tied the knot in 2022 after reconnecting in 2021. Unfortunately, the couple gave telltale signs at the beginning of 2024 that they weren’t in a good place. Affleck spent a lot of time with Jennifer Garner, prompting suspicion. Now, a source alleges Lopez hated how Affleck confided in his ex-wife.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner tied the knot 10 years before ending their marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2005 and separated in 2015 before finalizing their divorce in 2018. Garner quickly moved on with her current boyfriend, John Miller, and Affleck found love with Jennifer Lopez in 2021 — nearly 20 years after first falling for her.

Affleck and Garner remained friends after their divorce. They have three kids and wanted to be good examples of co-parenting for them. When Affleck started to have issues with Lopez in 2024, he allegedly confided in Garner. Garner helped Affleck with his marital problems, allowing him to visit her home and often visiting him at his Brentwood apartment.

A source told In Touch Weekly that Lopez thinks Affleck made her look “like a loser” after he spent their second wedding anniversary with Garner. “J. Lo is vowing to make Ben rue the day he decided to make her look like a loser!” the insider claimed.

The source noted that Affleck flew from LA to Connecticut to help Garner move their 18-year-old daughter, Violet, into her Yale dorm. Unfortunately, Lopez disapproved of the photos that showed Affleck smiling with Garner.

“It’s no exaggeration to say J. Lo hates his guts,” the source added. “He’s made her look like a total fool by parading around with his ex-wife. Now, she’s ready to go for his jugular!”

Miller watched as Garner helped Ben Affleck through his marriage to Jennifer Lopez. A source said Miller “is looking forward” to Affleck and Lopez finalizing their split so Garner can move forward.

“John doesn’t have any fears that they are getting back together, but it has been tough coping with her support for Ben during his split from J.Lo,” a source told DailyMail.com. ” … John is looking forward to Ben and J.Lo’s split being done so he can start focusing on Jen.”

The insider added that Garner and Miller ” want to be in a better place” in their relationship moving forward, “but some work needs to be done.”
