In 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their flame and fell back in love, finally tying the knot in 2022.
The couple made a big show of their romance in their documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told. Filmgoers mocked Lopez and Affleck for the film following the end of their romance in 2024. Recently, Lopez spoke to Nikki Glaser on Interview Magazine regarding her divorce proceedings. She explained that she knows exactly what others are saying and writing about her during her lowest periods.
“I know that everything that’s being written and said about me, and all the conjecture of who I am as a person, is not who I am,” Lopez explained. “I learned that a long time ago. And social media, because it came along after I had been in the public eye for a while, I don’t take it as seriously as everybody else. I know I’m a good person. I know I’m a good mom.”
Lopez added that to “have a long career, you have to learn how to deal” with the dark sides. “Some people are going to love you and some are not going to understand you, and some people just want to hate you to hate you, and none of that really matters,” she continued. “What matters for me, as an artist, is doing work that inspires me and that I enjoy doing, whether it’s a huge commercial success or something that only touches one person that nobody ever f***ing even sees. It doesn’t matter. This is my life’s passion.”

“Once they were together, he could not keep his hands off,” the source alleged of Affleck. “They have always had a lot of sexual chemistry. That was not planned. They are still attracted to one another.”
Unfortunately, while Lopez and Affleck seem to still have a lot of love and respect for each other, “they are still moving forward with the divorce” and “working out financial details amicably,” a source told People.

Jennifer Lopez typically doesn’t stay single for long. So, what’s her plan after she and Ben Affleck finalize their divorce? Lopez told Nikki Glaser that she’s not looking to date currently.
“Yes, I’m not looking for anybody, because everything that I’ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f***ing do when it’s just me flying on my own?” she said. “What if I’m just free?”
However, old habits might come back to bite Lopez. “And I know that the old Jennifer is still going to try to be like, ‘Wait, don’t we want to do that?’ And it’s like, no, dumb b****. No,'” she added.
