Though the 51-year-old entertainer has seemingly not aged since the ’90s when she was a Fly Girl on In Living Color or when she starred in the cult classic biopic, Selena, Lopez’s ageless beauty is not the result of a perfect skincare routine.
In fact, the Maid in Manhattan star’s beauty routine begins with the internal, a healthy diet, exercise, and getting enough sleep. “I don’t drink or smoke or have caffeine,” she told Us Weekly. “That really wrecks your skin as you get older.” However, the star’s top beauty secret is about rest.
“The number one tip is to always get enough sleep. I can’t stress this enough,” she explained to InStyle. “Ideally I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least eight.”
