Jennifer Lopez was ready to get back on tour in June 2024. She released her ninth studio album, This Is Me … Now, on Feb. 16, 2024. In addition to her music, Lopez is promoting her Netflix film, Atlas.
Unfortunately, all of Lopez’s accomplishments this year have been overshadowed by her alleged issues with her husband, Ben Affleck. Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in 2022. Reports suggest the couple no longer lives together as of May 2024. When questioned about their relationship during a press interview, Lopez scolded the interviewer and did not answer.
In May 2024, Lopez visited LIVE with Kelly and Mark to discuss tour preparations. Talk of Affleck never entered the conversation.
“There are 28 shows I’m doing across the United States,” Lopez explained. “I haven’t been on tour in a while, so I figured, let me get out there. I have new music. Let me just kind of put it out there.”
Lopez added that she finished filming Kiss of the Spider Woman, which left her feeling exhausted before tour rehearsals began. The star explained that the movie involved “singing and dancing and everything, which was equal parts exhilarating and exhausting. But now, I’m ready to go. I’m, like, the thinnest I’ve ever been. I’m in fighting shape.”
Lopez credits maintaining her physique to constantly “moving” while on tour and “doing two hours of exertion every night.”
Her work commitments are wearing on Ben Affleck, sources claim
Given what Jennifer Lopez said on LIVE with Kelly and Mark, she’s swamped in her career. Not only did she release new music in 2024, but her tour was set to begin in June 2024. She’s also still a working actor.
A source told Us Weekly that Lopez’s extreme work commitments are wearing on Ben Affleck, thus causing conflict in their marriage. “Jennifer had started ramping up her work commitments and prepping for her tour,” the source shared. “She’s very focused on work and overextends herself.” The insider added that Affleck “doesn’t agree” with Lopez’s hectic lifestyle and feels “worn down.”
Another source touched on the same subject. “Both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities,” the second source said. Lopez filming Kiss of the Spider Woman in New York City and Affleck filming The Accountant 2 in LA “highlighted the emotional and physical distance between them.”

Jennifer Lopez announced on May 31, 2024, that she was canceling her tour.
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” Lopez announced on her website. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.
