Jennifer Lopez Does Not Think Musicians Are Good in Bed

Jennifer Lopez has had a number of boyfriends and husbands, and she doesn’t rank the musicians of the group all that highly. Lopez, who had relationships with people like Sean “Diddy” Combs, Marc Anthony, and Drake, said that musicians were rarely good in bed. She shared why she thought this.

In 2016, Lopez appeared on Today. She recalled that the last time she was on the program, they asked her about her romantic partners. 

“Last time I was here, they asked me who is better in bed — dancers, musicians, or actors?” Lopez said, per W Magazine. “I said, ‘Dancers!’ ”

At the time, Lopez was dating dancer Casper Smart. He worked as her backup dancer and was her first relationship following her divorce from Anthony. 

Lopez didn’t have nearly as high of an opinion of musicians like her ex-husband. She said they were too self-absorbed to be good partners in the bedroom.

“Musicians are too self-absorbed,” she said. “They are too concerned with themselves to be great in bed.”

Lopez and Anthony married in 2004 and remained together until 2011. They share two children together. While Anthony is Lopez’s longest relationship, she said she realized relatively early on that they weren’t a good fit.

“I hung in there for seven years,” Lopez said. “I knew very quickly that it wasn’t the right thing.” 

She was at a photo shoot for L’Oréal when she realized she had to leave the marriage.

“Marc was my guy, the one,” Lopez wrote in her book True Love. “The father of my children, the man I was going to grow old with. I believed that with all my heart … until I finally realized, in the months leading up to that day in the desert, that it wasn’t meant to be.

She felt as though her body was physically rejecting the relationship.

“I wasn’t listening to my own inner voice, and now my body and soul were physically telling me that I could no longer be there,” she said, adding, “I couldn’t deny the truth anymore. I had to do something about it.”

After separating in 2011, Lopez and Anthony finalized their divorce in 2014. Both have gone on to marry other people.

Gwyneth Paltrow once spoke about what Lopez’s current husband is like in bed

Gwyneth Paltrow, who previously dated Lopez’s current husband, Ben Affleck, once spoke about what he was like in bed. On the podcast Call Her Daddy, Paltrow compared her relationships with Affleck and Brad Pitt. 

“Brad was like the sort of major chemistry, love of your life, kind of, at the time and then Ben was, like, technically excellent,” she said (per Today). “I can’t believe my daughter is listening to this!”

Host Alexandra Cooper took the opportunity to shout out Lopez.

“God bless J.Lo and everything she is getting over there!” she said.

Currently, Lopez and Affleck are reportedly going through divorce proceedings.
