Jennifer Lopez Is ‘Tremendously Disappointed’ and ‘Disgusted’ by Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs, Source Says
Jennifer Lopez and hip-hop mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs have a well-known past. In May 2023, footage leaked showing Combs attacking his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura in a hotel in 2016. According to a source, Lopez is “disgusted” by Combs’ actions, which were caught on tape. Here’s what she allegedly thinks.

Jennifer Lopez and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs started dating in 1999 after meeting on Lopez’s “If You Had My Love” music video. Combs and Kim Porter called it quits on their relationship earlier in 1999 before rekindling in the 2000s. Lopez and Combs’ relationship didn’t last long, as they stopped dating in 2001. According to Lopez, Combs was unfaithful during their romance, which resulted in the breakup.
“I never caught him [cheating], but I just knew,” she told Vibe, according to Entertainment Weekly. “He’d say he was going to a club for a couple of hours and then never came back that night. I had to think, do I want to be home with kids in 10 years wondering where somebody is at 3 in the morning?”
In May 2023, a video was released that showed Combs physically assaulting his long-term girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, in a hotel in 2016. A source told DailyMail.com that Lopez doesn’t want to address the video.
“Among everything else that Jen is dealing with in her life, she is aware and has seen what Diddy did and is tremendously disappointed,” the source said. “Jen is not going to address the accusations or take time to talk about them because it is not her story to tell.”
“Not that people forget, but her relationship with him several years ago had its tumultuous ups and downs,” the source continued. “What he has done and what he has been accused of is heartbreaking. It is disgusting for her to see that someone, who at one point in her life was someone she put so much trust in, has ended up turning into a very damaged human being. It is disturbing to see.”
Another source said Jennifer Lopez is ‘horrified’ by the accusations against her ex
Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ two homes were raided by Homeland Security on March 25, 2024. A source told In Touch Weekly that Jennifer Lopez is “horrified” by the accusations against Combs in the wake of the raid.
“J. Lo is horrified by all of the accusations,” the insider said. “She and Diddy had talked about marriage at one point, but she left him for a reason. Now, people want to know why and what she saw.”
The insider added that Lopez “shudders” when thinking about Combs. “There were many wild moments with Diddy, and it gives J. Lo the creeps to think that she was with him for so long,” they continued. “She wasn’t happy in the relationship.”
Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura spoke out following the assault video release
Sean “P. Diddy” Combs issued a public apology following the video that showed him physically attacking Casandra “Cassie” Ventura in 2016. In response, Cassie released an Instagram post addressing the footage.
“Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet,” she posted. “The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning. Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.
