Jennifer Lopez isn’t shying from the spotlight while she and Ben Affleck move through their divorce proceedings. Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024 following two years of marriage to Affleck. Before the dissolution of their relationship, they worked on the film Unstoppable. Lopez recently revealed her revenge dress look at the Unstoppable premiere — and fans noticed she might’ve also debuted the removal of her “commitment” tattoo.

Jennifer Lopez wore a daring dress to the Unstoppable premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 6, 2024. She dazzled in the silver floor-length Tamara Ralph dress that featured revealing slits up the sides. The dress was tied at the shoulders, waist, and thighs with large black velvet bows, revealing the side profile of Lopez’s body.
Lopez told People that she “felt good” in the dress, though Ben Affleck didn’t see her wear it, as he didn’t attend the premiere. “There was a discussion about whether I should or shouldn’t. And I was like, f*** it,” she laughed.
Fans were talking about Lopez’s dress, and the side slits sparked further discussion regarding her “commitment” tattoo. Lopez showed off her ribcage infinity tattoo made of their names on Instagram on Feb. 14, 2023. She included photos of the tattoo with pictures of her and Affleck in love. “Happy Valentine’s Day my love,” she captioned the post.
Oddly enough, Lopez’s ribcage tattoo was missing when she attended the Unstoppable premiere. It’s unclear if she covered the tattoo with makeup or had it removed completely. On Sept. 7, 2024, she posted a video of her makeup team getting her ready for the premiere, so it’s possible that they also took care of her ribcage ink. Lopez detailed the products she was using to get photo ready in the clip.

While Jennifer Lopez might’ve gotten rid of her ribcage tattoo signifying her love for Ben Affleck, it’s unclear if Affleck plans to get rid of his. Affleck’s tattoo contains his and Lopez’s initials between two crossed arrows.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple wanted to show their love “in a cool, fun, and unique way” with their ink. Lopez allegedly “listened to Ben’s input on what they ultimately decided to go with because he already has so many tattoos.” Lopez “knew he would have a good idea of what would look good on both of them.”
The source added that Lopez and Affleck were “very happy” with how their matching tattoos came out, with Affleck thinking that “Jen’s tattoo looks sexy and perfect on her. He loves the spot where she got it.”

While speaking to her Unstoppable co-star, Bobby Cannavale, at the Toronto International Film Festival, she appeared to call herself a “bad picker.” A TikTok shows the stars seemingly discussing the end of Lopez’s marriage. She also appeared to say, “It is what it is.”
Lopez can’t be kept down for long, even with the divorce looming over her. On Sept. 9, 2024, she posted new photos of her on Instagram on the second day of the Toronto International Film Festival to promote Unstoppable without Affleck.
