Jennifer Lopez Wears Simple Wedding Band to ‘Atlas’ Events Amidst Ben Affleck Split Rumors
As Jennifer Lopez walked the red carpet at a fan event for her new movie Atlas, Ben Affleck was nowhere to be seen. The 54-year-old seemed unphased despite rumors flying that there’s trouble in paradise. Lopez smiled with co-stars and feted the sci-fi action thriller — all with a simple wedding band on her ring finger.
Jennifer Lopez has been doing the media circuit for days now. First, she appeared at the Atlas premiere in LA sans her 8.5-carat green diamond engagement ring. The “Queen of Dance” opted for a simple and chic look, donning a white bandeau top and black skirt by Greta Constantine. Although her go-to green jewel was missing, Lopez accessorized with green gems of another kind.
The Wedding Planner star wore a massive necklace and matching earrings by Indian couture designer Manish Malhotra. The Ilena necklace featured 165 carats of special-cut emeralds and dozens of trillion-cut diamonds. Notably, the emeralds were almost mint green in color, nearly the same light green as the main stone in her engagement ring from Affleck.
Next, Lopez walked the red carpet in Mexico City for a special Atlas fan event. This time, the X opted for a playful, plunging Chloé dress. The white piece featured tiered ruffles falling all the way to her nude platform heels. Enjoying her time at the Plaza Toreo Parque Central, Lopez took to Instagram, saying, “¡Viva Mexico!”
The “I’m Real” singer wore the same silver wedding band in Mexico. This time, she paired it with dangly diamond earrings and a diamond statement ring on her pointer finger. While Affleck did not appear with his wife of 10 months on either red carpet, Lopez did pose alongside her co-stars Sterling K. Brown and Simu Liu.
Where is Ben Affleck, exactly? TMZ spotted the two-time Academy Award winner in LA on the set of his forthcoming film, The Accountant 2. Paparazzi have also photographed Afflect staying at a property less than 30 minutes from the $60 million mansion he shares with Lopez in Beverly Hills. With several media outlets confirming that he moved out of their home weeks ago, fans of the couple have questions.
Lopez has also been spotted touring homes sans husband. Earlier in May, she and a longtime staff member, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, checked out a luxury residence in Beverly Hills.
