Lopez announced the cancellation of her “This Is Me … Live” tour amid the rumors. A friend of Lopez’s told DailyMail.com that Lopez is willing to do anything to save her marriage, including sacrificing her career.

“She wants this marriage to work so much that she is willing to make any sacrifice, including giving up being J.Lo,” a friend said, adding that Lopez doesn’t want to “be divorced or end up like Madonna — on her own at 60. She can’t bear the idea of failure.”

“I think you can already see her toning down the way she looks and obviously quitting this tour as well, to try to hang on to the marriage,” the source added. “She lets [Affleck] smoke, which is huge — she hates smoking, and to be around that as a singer is a straight no, but he never gave up when they were dating and married.

Another friend of Lopez said the star is being unfairly “dragged” amid the rumors. “She has been taking the blame for the end of the tour and the marriage, and the mockery of the world,” they said. “It is all the opposite of the truth.”

Another source claims that Ben Affleck isn’t impressed with the creative projects that Jennifer Lopez takes on.

“Ben feels Jen needs to overhaul her career and have a better team behind her,” the insider told The Sun. “He has butted heads with some members for a while now, and it’s caused tension behind the scenes. He just wants what’s best for her and feels she’s doing a lot of mediocre projects and is surrounded by yes people who are also sometimes making decisions for her.”

The source added that Affleck doesn’t want Lopez to feel “disappointed” if one of her projects “doesn’t do well.”
