Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are making headlines due to alleged marital troubles. While the couple first got engaged in the early 2000s, they broke off their engagement and relationship in 2004. They rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022. Unfortunately, Lopez’s”fall from grace” due to an album flop and her association with Sean “P. Diddy” Combs could negatively impact her marriage.

Fans rooted for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck when they initially got back together in 2021. However, multiple sources claim the couple might divorce in 2024. One source told Life & Style that the honeymoon phase of their romance has definitely ended.

“The honeymoon is definitely over,” the source said, claiming that Lopez needs “constant affirmation” from Affleck. “The feeling is if they want to stay married, they both need to make some adjustments in their behavior.”

Another source claimed that Lopez’s 2024 album flop, This Is Me … Now, and her past association with fallen star Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, are straining her relationship. The public doesn’t have the same love for Lopez that they once did.

“Jennifer’s fall from grace has been coming for a while, and it’s really all her fault because she’s the one driving it,” the second source said. “She lives in a world of make-believe, and people aren’t buying the act anymore. They’re labeling her a phony and narcissist and someone who’s tone-deaf to the real world around her.”

Yet another source recently spilled to The Sun that Affleck thinks Lopez needs to rethink her career choices. “Ben feels Jen needs to overhaul her career and have a better team behind her,” the insider said. “ … He just wants what’s best for her and feels she’s doing a lot of mediocre projects and is surrounded by yes people who are also sometimes making decisions for her.”

Jennifer Lopez announced the cancellation of her This Is Me … Live tour at the end of May 2024. “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” she wrote in a newsletter. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”

Lopez wants to spend more time with her family and friends, so she is canceling the tour. A source told People that she feels “relieved” with the decision.

“Life is a lot right now,” the source said. “As sad as she was to cancel the tour, she’s also relieved. She needs to take care of herself. … The decision was something that her team encouraged. Everyone is supportive of her focusing on family right now.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck shared an air kiss amid divorce rumors

Divorce rumors swirl around Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, especially after the news of her tour cancellation. The couple has made a few recent public appearances together despite news that Affleck moved out into a $100,000 monthly rental.

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, Affleck and Lopez met up in Santa Monica, California, to attend Affleck’s son’s basketball game. Affleck’s mother joined the couple, who appeared happy. According to photos from Page Six, Affleck and Lopez greeted each other with air kisses outside the YMCA instead of locking lips.

A source previously told Page Six that Affleck regrets moving quickly into marriage with Lopez in 2022. “If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” the insider admitted.
