‘Jersey Shore’: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know About Angelina Pivarnick’s Wedding
33-year-old Angelina Pivarnick has long been the black sheep of MTV’s Jersey Shore crew. She initially left the house in its early days (twice!) after drama with other cast members.
Since returning to the show for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Pivarnick has bonded with certain cast members and fought with others. Most memorably, she sparred with Jenni “JWoww” Farley over allegedly getting too cozy with Farley’s boyfriend, 24-year-old Zack Clayton Carpinello, during a night out at the club.
Still, the Jersey Shore cast was there to support Pivarnick in her Nov. 20 wedding at an elegant New Jersey destination to her fiancé, Chris Larangeira, of nearly two years. The couple plans to start a family together in the future, as Pivarnick exclusively told Entertainment Tonight. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and Deena Nicole Cortese served as bridesmaids…but some major drama over their harsh toasts left Pivarnick enraged.
The wedding was at a New Jersey château
Entertainment Tonight exclusively revealed all the details of Pivarnick’s glammed-up Nov. 20 wedding and reception at the East Brunswick, New Jersey venue Park Château Estate & Gardens.
Pivarnick wore silver jewelry, including a tiara, as well as a long, sheer veil from the Bridal Styles Boutique and a custom lace Castle Couture wedding dress. The groom wore a custom black tuxedo from Karako Suits.
The Beauty Suite NY’s “Suite Squad” did the Jersey Shore star’s makeup, while DreamCatchers hair extensions and styling by Vilda at Glam by Vilda completed her dreamy look. Le El New York provided the silky bridal robes that Pivarnick wore as her glam squad went to work.
Pivarnick also hosted a lavish bridal shower last month
Larangeira, a sanitation worker who is much older than his new Jersey Shore bride, proposed to Pivarnick in Jan. 2018 after the couple had dated for a year. The couple staged a Jersey-themed engagement shoot in Mar. 2019, and Pivarnick enjoyed a bachelorette party in New Orleans in Nov. 2019.
On Oct. 27, Pivarnick hosted an elegant bridal shower, featuring a spray of pink roses and a girly spread of cake pops, macarons, cupcakes, and a two-tiered cake from celebrity bakery Confections of a Rock Star, at the Old Bermuda Inn on Staten Island. Jersey Shore castmate Deena Nicole Cortese was in attendance.
Bridal shower guests also enjoyed photo booth pictures from the “Booth Babe,” Melanie Pagnotta, while Two of a Kind Productions provided professional DJ services.
The glam wedding included a giant cake, chandeliers, and a martini bar
Entertainment Tonight revealed other details from the Jersey Shore star’s lavish Wednesday wedding. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a meal catered by the château itself. Reception decorations and sweets were all-white, including a towering tiered cake that was almost as tall as the bride.
Guests sipped on custom cocktails from a martini bar and posed for photos next to all-white floral centerpieces and a number of sparkling chandeliers.
The ‘Jersey Shore’ cast was in attendance
Despite Pivarnick’s drama with several members of the Jersey Shore cast, her castmates came to support her on her special day. According to People, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife Lauren Pesce Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, and Paul D. DelVecchio Jr. (“DJ Pauly D”) all shared in the nuptials.
Meanwhile, Deena Nicole Cortese, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley were Pivarnick’s bridesmaids.
The ‘Jersey Shore’ bridesmaids’ speeches sparked major drama
Pivarnick’s wedding didn’t go off without a hitch. Cortese, Polizzi, and Farley gave a joint bridesmaid toast so controversial that it was cut off early and sparked boos from other wedding guests. Pivarnick reportedly “stormed off” and even “screamed” at Jersey Shore producers, according to Entertainment Tonight.
The toast included harsh lines like “You are the throw-up to our hangover” and “You are the dump to our island.” 32-year-old Cortese defended the toasts in an Instagram post, according to Us Magazine, saying there were nice parts of the speeches as well and that they were meant to be funny. Still, for now, it appears that Pivarnick isn’t talking to her female Jersey Shore castmates.
The drama will air on the next season of MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, although no premiere date has been officially announced by the network yet.
