‘Jersey Shore’ Alum Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Doesn’t Like to Remember Meeting Husband Jionni LaValle — ‘I Cringe’
“Where’s the beach?” Fans love remembering Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s iconic lines from Jersey Shore. However, the former roommate does not like to think about how she met her husband, Jionni LaValle while starring on the show.
How did ‘Jersey Shore’ star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi meet her husband, Jionni LaValle?
Snooki met her future husband, Jionni LaValle, while filming season 3 of Jersey Shore. It was another drunken night at club Karma in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, for Polizzi. In those days, she would drink until she could barely walk and then find someone to hook up.
On the night she met LaValle, Snooki took him back to the smush room to have sex. At the time, the star thought it was only another one-night-stand. She couldn’t remember his name, but told him instead, “I’ll call you Bernard.”
“We met at the club — Brought [Jionni] home — One-night-stand. That’s how it happened,” Snooki told Larry King in an interview. “I hated him at first. I was just like ‘Oh he’s cute, he’ll do for tonight.'”
However, LaValle ended up being much more than a one-night stand to Snooki.
“I just kept thinking about, so I was like let me call him,” she continued. “So, we hung out a few times and that was that.”
Why doesn’t Snooki like remembering how she and Jionni met?
Now that Polizzi and LaValle are married, she does not look back fondly on how they met while filming Jersey Shore.
“I’m grateful that the show helped me meet my husband,” Snooki told Vulture. “Watching me and Jionni meet, I wish it was something romantic.”
Polizzi danced it up with LaValle at club Karma, and then immediately took him home to “get it in.”
“It was a drunken hookup, and it was not the way I want to remember us meeting,” she continued. “I cringe when I watch it, because I’m like, ‘Oh my God, ew.’ But I love the fact that I met him while I was down the shore.”
How long have Snooki and Jionni been married?
Although the couple went through a lot while filming Jersey Shore, they eventually married on Nov. 29, 2014. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jionni LaValle had their first child, Lorenzo Dominic LaValle, on Aug. 26, 2012. Giovanna Marie LaValle was born on Sept. 26, 2014, and then on May 30, 2019, Angelo James LaValle was born.
The couple lives with their three children in Florham Park, New Jersey. However, they also spend a lot of time at their new shore house in Toms River, New Jersey.
The five-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom beach house is often featured in Snooki’s Instagram posts and stories. She also spends a significant amount of time at The Snooki Shop, which she owns in Madison, New Jersey.
