‘Jersey Shore’: Deena Says She Will ‘Never’ Film with Angelina Again After 2019 Blowout
Jersey Shore fans know that the cast has always had a tense relationship with Angelina. The drama began in the show’s inaugural season and continued for years before it started to simmer. But just as things were turning around, their relationship hit another snag.
JWoww, Snooki, and Deena, specifically, had a falling out with Angelina over jokes the trio made at Angelina’s wedding in November 2019. The drama is now airing on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation and a new trailer for the show features Deena saying she no longer wants to film with her co-star due to it.
Angelina Pivarnick’s wedding drama
Angelina married sanitation worker Chris Larangeira on Nov. 20, 2019, at New Jersey’s Park Château Estate & Gardens. They tied the knot in front of family members, friends, and the Jersey Shore cast.
At the reception, JWoww, Snooki, and Deena took the stage to deliver a speech. They kicked things off in a way one would expect but eventually dove into some pretty inappropriate subject matter. Sources told E! News and Us Weekly that they made jokes about Angelina and referred to the reality star as “trash.”

The toast was so brutal that the crowd started booing the group. This can be heard in the trailer before Angelina says, “That was so f*cked up.” She then storms out of the room and demands that MTV stop filming.
“Take your camera crew out of my f*cking face,” she screams. “Get out of my face. Turn around and just go.”
Meanwhile, her co-stars are enraged by the boos. JWoww is heard saying that she is “mortified” while Deena screams she’ll never film with Angelina again.
The girls say it was a big misunderstanding
After the ceremony, Deena shared a now-deleted post to social media saying that they were not intentionally trying to be mean.
“Listen I understand [you’re] all upset about our speech, but we also included nice things in it as well…we thought since Angelina always says ‘I never take myself seriously’ she would truly laugh at the stuff we said,” she wrote. “Clearly we were wrong…we’re friggen human. People make mistakes. We truly thought she was going to laugh and right after we went into how lucky we are to have her in our lives and she’s the sister we needed in the house.”
In her own social media post, Angelina seemed to admit that she had forgiven the cast, describing it as a mistake and saying that she wouldn’t let the wedding drama ruin everything they’ve built over the years.
Maybe we’ll get to see them all together in later episodes of the show now that this seems to be out of the way. But given that it’s taped months in advance, we’re sure it’ll get uglier before it gets better. Watch Jersey Shore: Family Vacation every Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on MTV.
