‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’: Was Angelina Pivarnick’s Wedding Drama Staged?
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3 is about to come to a screeching halt. The episode revolving around Angelina Pivarnick’s wedding will air June 4. Many fans think Pivarnick’s wedding drama isn’t authentic and heavily scripted for the show. However, a former producer says Pivarnick might be responsible for manipulating the situation in her favor.
Angelina’s wedding drama is about to unfold
On the next episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, fans will finally get to hear the infamous wedding speech. Pivarnick’s bridesmaid Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi “literally told producers, ‘I’m not going to do a speech because I’m not comfortable doing one; I don’t think we should be doing one.’” Polizzi told The Ashley Reality Roundup, “We were forced to do something we didn’t want to do.” The speech delivered on the show was reportedly concocted by producers.
The episode will show Polizzi, Deena Cortese, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, giving a speech that’s so insulting, they receive “boos” from the crowd. “The speech was meant to be funny but came across as pretty mean-spirited,” an insider told E! News. According to their source, Polizzi, Farley, and Cortese refer to Pivarnick as “trash,” amongst other insults.
Angelina reportedly wants another wedding
Fans are eager to see what plays out during the wedding episode — especially knowing Pivarnick wants to redo her wedding. “It’s been really hard for Angelina even though all of this time has passed,” a source told HollywoodLife. “She’s looking forward to viewers seeing what happened and her side [of the story]. She felt robbed that night by her female co-stars. She wants to do another wedding when the quarantine is lifted.”
It’s hard to say whether the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast will receive an invite to Pivarnick’s wedding redo. If she does choose to include them in another wedding, a lack of cameras might help everyone feel at ease.
A former ‘Jersey Shore’ producer thinks Angelina is to blame
A former story and field producer for the original Jersey Shore hosted an Ask Me Anything on Reddit, wherein they discussed their experience working on the show. “[Angelina’s M.O. was] playing a victim when she had been two-faced with the girls in the house,” the ex-producer explained. They referenced a time when “[Angelina spread] a lot of gossip (much worse than what was shown on the show) about [the roommates] and then would cry foul because the girls reacted.”
Based on this producer’s experience, they believe Pivarnick could have manipulated her wedding for sympathy from fans. “I’m not trying to be biased but based on previous experience, I am leaning towards her manipulating this for sympathy when she knew it was going to happen,” they ex-producer mentioned.
After seeing the teaser for the wedding episode, Pivarnick’s fans have been extremely supportive on Twitter. “Girl, you need better friends,” one user tweeted. “You’re so sweet and funny. The constant bashing of your name is so tiring to see.” Grateful for the support, Pivarnick wrote: “It is also tiring to live through it. Trust me, it’s very hard. And yes, from now on, I will be very hesitant about who I let into my life and what I tell people.”
