‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Is Officially Filming — When Will Season 4 Air?
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans — get excited! The roommates have finally started filming for season 4. Now, all fans can think about is when they’ll be able to watch the new season. Here’s what we know about when Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 will air.
‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ will be back with season 4
Another season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation was confirmed on June 25. A majority of the cast are coming back, including: Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Pauly DelVecchio, and Angelina Pivarnick. More recently, it was revealed that Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Deena Cortese will also film for season 4.
On the other hand, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is standing by what she said before season 3 of the MTV series aired.
“I am not coming back to Jersey Shore [Family Vacation] for a season 4 if there is one,” Polizzi said on her podcast, It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey. Instead, she is choosing to focus on her kids, her boutique, The Snooki Shop, and her business venture with Cortese, Meatball Merch.
Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley and Deena Cortese are back, despite their falling out with Angelina Pivarnick
It will be interesting to see how Farley, Cortese, and Pivarnick interact on the upcoming season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. After the drama that ensued at Pivarnick’s wedding, fans weren’t sure if Farley or Cortese would return.
Regardless of what Farley said on social media after the season 3 finale aired, she will be back for season 4.
“Aside from the re-launch of my site, I will be working on a few new projects that I’m very excited about,” she published on her site, Miss Domesticated. “YES, I will be getting ready to film another season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Despite the rumors, I’ve made the decision to stick with the show and reunite once again with my second family.”
Now, thanks to Instagram, Cortese’s return has been confirmed, too.
The ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ cast is currently filming
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Cortese captioned a photo of her son, Christopher John, with:
CJ helping the sound guy on set of #jsfamilyvacation while mommy films with her roomies. A little behind the scenes helper.
PDA all of us were tested and quarantined before filming. We also have COVID police on set and everyone besides cast members wear masks.
Pivarnick has also shared behind the scenes photos of herself to her Instagram Stories documenting that the cast is filming season 4.
When will season 4 of ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ air?
In the past, the Jersey Shore crew would travel to different locations to film, including Las Vegas and Miami. Now, with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, their travel is likely minimal.
It’s unclear whether the cast will be filming in different locations or shooting remotely from their respective homes. But if they’re shooting remotely, they could wrap the new season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation sooner rather than later.
The first season of Jersey Shore was filmed over a summer, airing in December 2009. Knowing this, many fans are hopeful season 4 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will have a quick turnaround.
Depending on how long gathering footage takes, fans could have season 4 in early 2021.
