Pivarnick married Chris Larangeira in November 2019. By December 2019, Polizzi announced her exit from the MTV series on her podcast, It’s Happening With Snooki and Joey. She cited the drama that ensued at Pivarnick’s wedding as one of her main reasons for leaving.
When the season 3 episode aired, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans saw what happened at the wedding, including the infamous speech. Many people began to understand why Polizzi left the show.
‘Snooki’ is pursuing other entertainment projects
Polizzi may have stepped down from the MTV reality series, but she certainly didn’t step out of the spotlight. She continues to record new episodes of her podcast with Joey Camasta.
Plus, Polizzi is the host of the HGTV series Beach Cabana Royale. Outside of television, Polizzi owns and operates two Snooki Shops in New York and New Jersey.

Despite the speculation some fans had about Polizzi’s return in season 4, it seems as though she’s done with the show for good. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a relationship with her roommates. Polizzi frequently interacts with the cast of Jersey Shore on social media and through their coveted group chat.
While “Snooki” didn’t show up in the first half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4, some fans still think there’s a chance she might turn up in the second half. After photos surfaced of Polizzi and Pivarnick having lunch together with cameras present, some fans think the two will make amends in the upcoming episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
What does the future hold for Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi?
While Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans know where to find Polizzi outside of MTV, the fact is they miss seeing her interact with her roommates. Some fans have petitioned for Snooki & JWoww to return — something Polizzi wouldn’t mind happening herself.
“I would love to do something with Jenni again,” Polizzi told HelloGiggles in April 2020. “Just because filming Snooki & JWoww, our spinoff from Jersey Shore a while ago, was the fun-est show ever.”

Filming for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation has wrapped. Some of the cast, including DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino, moved on to other projects, like Double Shot at Love Season 3.
The footage for the rest of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 is likely being edited at this time. According to reality TV editor Dana Martell, JSFV Season 4 could be ready in as little as four weeks. But since season 4 of Floribama Shore is in full swing, fans might have to wait another month or two for the rest of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

UPDATE: Polizzi shared the best news with Jersey Shore fans on May 11, 2021. “I’M BACK, B*TCHES!!!” she tweeted. “I’m bringing the party back when #JSFamilyVacation returns Jerzday, June 3 on #MTV.”
