Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 concluded with a bang last night — literally. During the finale, Angelina Pivarnick accidentally shot her husband Chris Larangeira in the face during the sex reveal of Baby Sorrentino. But that’s not the only exciting thing that happened during the finale of the MTV reality series.

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and Angelina Pivarnick put the past behind them
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 has been all about healing. After the drama that resulted from the roommates’ infamous wedding speech, Angelina, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and Deena Cortese moved on. Now, the same can be said for Angelina and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
“Snooki” and Angelina had lunch before the Pocono trip to hash things out. But many of the roommates didn’t think their talk was effective because the two were drinking.
After Nicole’s alter-ego “Dren” appeared in the Poconos, she and Angelina had to have another sit-down just to make sure they were on the same page. “I’m not trying to fight with you,” Angelina tells “Snooki” in the episode.
“Me neither — ‘Dren’ is a d—,” Nicole added. “I honestly can’t explain it and I’m so sorry. I’m in the wrong.” Their serious conversation appears to have worked — in teaser clips from season 5, Nicole and Angelina are seen hanging out amicably together.
Romeo Reign Sorrentino’s gender reveal gets dangerous
On the last day of their trip to the Poconos, the roommates hosted a dual baby shower for Lauren and Deena Cortese. Both of their sons were born in May 2021.
Meanwhile, Mike, seeking to prove “the comeback is always greater than the setback,” had a surprise of his own. Though everyone already knew the sex of Baby Sorrentino, Mike wanted a rematch with “the wall.”
“We will avenge the loss that happened 10 years ago,” Mike tweeted, referring to the wall he ran into headfirst in Italy. After he ran through a new wall to reveal blue powder, the rest of the roommates fired off their cannons. Angelina accidentally aimed hers right at her husband’s face.
“Dam, did I just shoot my husband in the eye with a canon???” Pivarnick tweeted during the episode. The roommates screamed for a medic to help Chris as Angelina, a registered EMT, knelt by his side in a hilarious moment.
Fortunately, Chris survived the accident. “Thank god he’s okay,” Angelina said in another tweet.
‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ cast tease season 5
After months of hearing the roommates tease another season, MTV finally confirmed the rumors on Sept. 2. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will return with season 5. At this time, the air date is unknown.
The network also revealed “Snooki” will be rejoining the cast in the new season. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro‘s fate in season 5 remains unclear. In August 2021, the reality TV star spoke with TMZ about being four months sober. He also mentioned his desire to return to the show.
“Hopefully the end of season 5 [I’ll be back],” Ortiz-Magro told the outlet. “All the fans love me and I love them too, so I’ll give them what they want.” At the time, his focus was his daughter and wedding planning with his fiancé, Saffire Matos.
What’s more, “The Situation” sparked rumors among Jersey Shore fans last night implying Sammi “Sweetheart’s” return in season 5. After a fan said, “Bring back Samantha,” Mike replied: “The streets are saying she is returning,” with a shrug emoji.
