Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 5 is at the halfway point, and if the mid-season trailer is any indication, fans are in for a wild ride. In this week’s episode, the cast of the MTV series is headed to international waters. Mid-season trailer for ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Season 5 teases their trip to Florida
Based on the footage, the Jersey Shore cast experience a “colossal storm” that “wreaks havoc” on the Florida Keys. But as Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino teases: “We are the storm.”
The roommates encounter a party yacht, a tiki boat, and jet skis. But the roommates also make time for themselves when they attend a “love workshop” during their stay. Plus, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has some trouble finding her wine and Pauly DelVecchio has an issue with his hair exclaiming: “Blowout down!”
But for all of the fun included in the mid-season trailer, there’s also some drama. “Someone left a note at the door,” Sorrentino says to cameras. At one point, Angelina Larangeira screams, “I wanna go home!” And Deena Cortese says, “There’s a lot of hypocrites at this table. I did what I had to f***ing do here.” Fans will have to tune in every Jerzday to find out what it all means.
Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and Deena Cortese tease their Meatball Show in the mid-season trailer
Polizzi and Cortese have been discussing hosting a talk show for a while. After “Snooki” took a brief hiatus from the reality series, she and Cortese talked about doing a show together on Instagram Live.
“Me and Nicole are kind of hoping that this ‘Meatball Show’ will take off,” Cortese said at the time. “We would love to do a real ‘Meatball Show’ and be able to hang out with all of you,” Polizzi added. Now, it looks like their dreams are coming true in the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation mid-season trailer.
“Welcome to the Meatball Show!” Polizzi and Cortese say in unison to the confessional camera. “Step aside Oprah,” Polizzi adds. “Get out of the way, b****,” says Cortese.
‘JSFV’ filmed season 5 at the Isla Bella Resort in Marathon, Florida
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans knew the cast of the MTV series was filming somewhere in the Florida Keys, thanks to social media. After some light investigative work, fans figured out the cast was filming at the Isla Bella Resort in Marathon, Florida. Some fans could access the resort’s live feed and grab images of the cast filming, which they shared to Reddit before the resort cut the cameras off.
Later, in another Reddit thread, an employee at the resort shared their experience working while the show was filming. “One of the funniest stories is they played a murder mystery game late at night,” they said.
This could be what everyone seems so frantic about in the trailer, as things allegedly got intense during the game. “Someone called the police about the body floating in the ocean,” the employee reported.
