‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’: Vinny and Angelina’s Epic Fight Has Fans Rooting for a Romance
Jersey Shore Family Vacation is finally back with new episodes on MTV. In the mid-winter premiere, fans caught up with the gang waiting for Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s release from jail. But one of the funniest scenes of the episode was the physical play-fight between Angelina and Vinny. After seeing the two go at it, fans think it’s finally time for them to start dating.
Their history on ‘The Jersey Shore’
The reality stars first met on The Jersey Shore when it premiered in 2008. The original cast includes Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Pauly D., Ronnie Magro, Samantha “Sammi” Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and Angela Pivarnick.
However, Angela’s role in the first season only lasted a few weeks. By the third episode, she was evicted from the house because she refused to work at the Boardwalk t-shirt shop. The reality star returned for season 2 but left mid-season after an altercation with Mike and Snooki. In the third season, Angelina was replaced by Deena Cortese.
But on season 2, episode 8 of The Jersey Shore, Angelina and Vinny did get a little romantic. It was a surprise for fans at the time, because in the episode prior, the two roommates had a huge fight. And it didn’t seem like they could ever reconcile.
But on their way home from a club that night, the two started making out in the cab. After waking up next to each other the next morning, they told the roommates they only got together because they were drunk.
They never hooked up again after that (at least not on-screen), but throughout the last few seasons Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Angelina and Vinny have had plenty of intense arguments. Most of their roommates consider the tension to be part of their love/hate relationship.
The latest Angelina – Vinny fight on ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’
The latest episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation features Angelina and Vinny duking it out once again. After the roommates, including Snooki, Pauly, Deena, and Jenny, invited Lauren out to go bowling and then to a strip club, they end up hanging out at Jenni’s house.
When Vinny, Pauly, and Angelina are in Jenni’s daughter’s room, Vinny provokes Angelina, and the two start going at it. For nearly an hour, Angelina and Vinny wrestle, punch, and hold each other down. And all throughout, Vinny hilariously comments on their pent up sexual tension.
Security enters the room to make sure the play-fight doesn’t go too far. Finally, Vinny is able to overcome Angelina, and then to put an end to the altercation, he quickly sits on her and passes gas.
Fans think the ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ roommates should finally start dating
Angelina and Vinny’s fight was definitely one of the highlights of the episode, and viewers were thrilled to see the two at it again. But many fans think they only fight to cover up their true feelings.
“I think Vinny and Angelina love each other for real,” a fan wrote on Twitter. “Angelina just admit you love Vinny already it’s freaking obvious,” tweeted another.
Some fans think the two should make a serious go of things. “Vinny and Angelina should just be a couple,” one Twitter user wrote. “If Vinny and Angelina don’t end up married I’m done with this show,” tweeted another Jersey Shore fan.
However, it doesn’t look like the two reality stars will be hooking up anytime soon. In a sneak peek of the season, Angelina is getting married to her longtime fiance, Chris. The show is teasing plenty of drama for her wedding, but whether or not it has to do with Vinny is to be seen.
