‘Jersey Shore’: Fan Complaints Prompt Deena Cortese to Reveal She’s Expanding Her Clothing Line
Many of the Jersey Shore stars have come out with clothing lines. Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi has the most popular brand with an entire store — The Snooki Shop. However, the other roommates are catching up. Deena Nicole Cortese launched her first clothing line recently but received several fan complaints.
Are Deena and Chris Buckner still together from ‘Jersey Shore?’
Cortese and Buckner were engaged in November 2016 and then married on Oct. 28, 2017. The couple had their first child on Jan. 5, 2019. Christopher John “CJ” Buckner is now 18 months old and the star of Cortese’s social media accounts.
Cortese met Buckner after Jersey Shore Season 4, in 2011. The two met through mutual friends, according to their wedding website. They noticed each other from across the room and then went home and became Facebook friends.
After one night hanging out together with friends, the two were inseparable. Buckner later appears on seasons two and three of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The two are currently happily married and will be celebrating their third anniversary soon.
‘Jersey Shore’ fans complain about Cortese’s new clothing line
Deena Nicole Cortese dropped her new clothing line on Father’s Day, June 21, 2020. She was very excited about the launch on the holiday in honor of her later father. However, there were a few hiccups and fan complaints off the bat.
“There’s only ONE thing to choose from,” a fan wrote on Instagram.
Other fans complained that the prices were too high. Cortese responded to her fans, revealing they will be expanding the clothing line soon. She also went into further detail in a separate post.
“It’s hard to manufacture a small batch of products and break-even, but it’s more important to me that Christopher John is affordable and for everyone, which is why I reduced the prices as low as I could for this launch,” she wrote. “Next launch, we plan on making super cute clothes but making clothes that aren’t as expensive to make so we can reach everyone’s price points! This is a new journey for us. It takes time to perfect it.”
There are currently 10 items as part of the Christopher-John collection. All items match and coordinate with a shirt for mom and hoodies for everyone.

Cortese explained that after her time in Jersey Shore, her father tried to help her find a new endeavor for starting a business. However, nothing sparked her interest at that time. In 2016, her father died from Leukemia, so she knows that her father is proud of her from above.
“I always felt like I let him down because my heart was never into all the things I tried to do in the past,” Deena explained. “Then I had my son and realized I was born to be a mommy, and naturally, this idea popped into my head, and I heard my dad’s voice telling me to go for it.”
Deena revealed that there is “another drop coming out soon,” of her Christopher-John clothing line.
