‘Jersey Shore’: Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley Is Engaged; Will the Wedding Be on the MTV Series?
Gym, tan, it’s wedding season! For Jenni “JWoww” Farley, that is. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star got engaged to Zack “24” Carpinello in February of 2021. Here’s everything we know so far about her engagement and details about the couple’s wedding.
How did Jenni Farley and Zack Carpinello meet?
Ironically, they met at Farley’s wedding when she married Roger Mathews, with whom she shares two children — Meilani and Greyson. As Mathews explained to Us Weekly in April 2019, Carpinello is “a good friend of [Farley’s] little brother.” Despite Carpinello’s relationship with Mathews’ ex-wife, he had nothing but good things to say about him. Mathews called Carpinello “a terrific guy” and said he and Farley “seem to be really happy.” At the time, Mathews even said he was “happy for them.”
Farley and Carpinello started dating in March of 2019. Shortly after introducing “24” to her roommates, the couple split up in October after the pro wrestler got flirty with Angelina Pivarnick. After some time apart, Farley and Carpinello got back together in December 2019. Since then, they have been quarantining together throughout the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Zack ’24’ Carpinello proposed to ‘JWoww’ on her birthday
Farley turned 35 on Feb. 27, 2021. She celebrated her birthday with a surprise engagement from Carpinello, who proposed to her in New York City. “On 2.27 I said yes on the top of the Empire State Building,” Farley captioned a set of photos on Instagram.
The photos show Farley and Carpinello kissing and toasting with champagne as they looked out over the New York City skyline. At the time of publication, Carpinello had yet to share an announcement of his own. He did comment on Farley’s Instagram post with: “you’re my forever.”
‘Jersey Shore’ fans react to ‘JWoww’s engagement
Farley only recently announced the big news, but fans have already started to form their own opinions. Many are happy for Farley and Carpinello and can’t wait for them to take the next step. “Congrats to you JWoww and 24,” one fan replied. “Please don’t invite Angelina [to] the wedding just sayin!!” Others weren’t so happy for Farley and chose to harp on Carpinello’s past mistakes. “You said yes to a guy who grabs a*ses,” someone else replied. “Hope that was just for TV.”
Regardless of what fans are saying, Farley is surely celebrating with her fiancé. At the time of publication, none of Farley’s Jersey Shore roommates have spoken out about her engagement.
Will Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley and Zack ’24’ Carpinello’s wedding be on ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’?
At this time, it’s hard to say if Farley and Carpinello will have cameras present when they tie the knot. Considering how other roommates like Pivarnick and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino allowed their weddings to be part of the MTV reality series, it wouldn’t be surprising if Farley included fans in her big day. But given how poorly Pivarnick’s first wedding went on the show, Farley could be considering other, more private options. After all, she probably doesn’t want to require a wedding redo!
