‘Jersey Shore’: Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi and Jionni LaValle Reportedly ‘Living Apart’
Jersey Shore brought Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jionni LaValle together. The couple met during season 3 of the MTV series and tied the knot in 2014. LaValle stays out of the spotlight and no longer appears on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation with his famous wife, but Snooki maintains she and LaValle have a fantastic relationship. However, an insider suggested that Snooki and LaValle are “living apart” in 2024.

Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jionni LaValle have sustained their romance for over a decade and have three kids. But Polizzi has spent time in the past defending herself and LaValle from cheating and divorce rumors. More recently, the Netflix documentary, Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal, brought old rumors that LaValle cheated back into the limelight.
While Polizzi puts on a united front with LaValle, an insider told The Sun in May 2024 that she constantly vents about her marriage to anyone who will listen. The source also claimed that Snooki said LaValle “left the house.” The couple owns two homes in New Jersey and allegedly switch up which house they each stay in, with Snooki typically residing in the inland home and LaValle staying in the home on the shore.
“They stay apart a lot of the time,” the source explained. “Within the last several months, she said she hadn’t seen Jionni in awhile and that he had left the house.”
According to the insider, Snooki and LaValle don’t sleep in the same bed in the same home. “Nicole will sleep in her bed with the kids, and Jionni will be in another bedroom and won’t get into their bed ’til she leaves,” they claimed.
Another source claimed that Polizzi opens up on camera about her marital issues, but MTV never airs the conversations. “She’s always said she doesn’t have the best relationship, she says it in front of everyone all the time, but it never airs,” the second source added.

Jersey Shore fans noticed that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s Instagram Stories may hold additional information about her marriage to Jionni LaValle. A few of her Stories indicate that she may not feel appreciated by her husband.
“I just want to be shown off like a fish on a boys dating profile,” she posted in June 2024.
Polizzi also posted, “The older I get … the less I feel the need to be included, understood, or accepted.”
In May 2024, she posted about feeling “sad,” which also had fans talking. “Don’t be sad, sis,” the post read. “The weather is getting warmer, and you a milf.”
Snooki seemed to combat rumors regarding her ill-fated marriage with a photo of her family. On May 19, 2024, she posted a photo of her with LaValle and their three kids at Orlando’s Walt Disney World Resort. “My pride,” she captioned the post with a lion emoji.

Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi maintains that Jionni LaValla never cheated on her during their marriage despite what the Ashley Madison scandal claimed.
“I’m lucky if he knows how to even use a computer, yet go on Ashley Madison to cheat on me,” Snooki said on the Naturally Nicole podcast. “It’s so stupid, and we honestly think, like, someone is trying to f–k with us because this isn’t the first story that Jionni’s been cheating on me. But all these stories never have evidence. There’s never a photo, there’s never text messages, there’s nothing.”
Snooki went on to say that if LaValle “wanted” to cheat on her, he wouldn’t need to do it online. “If he wanted to cheat on me, he would go to a club and cheat on me, or go out and cheat on me,” she continued. “He wouldn’t go on Ashley Madison to pay money to cheat on me. Like, he’s not an ugly guy. He’s beautiful, do you know what I mean?”
