‘Jersey Shore’ Alum Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Reveals Her Thoughts on Her Arrest — ‘I Don’t Regret It’
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi‘s “Where’s the beach?” moment is one of the most iconic Jersey Shore lines. Fans still replicate her drunken stumble through TikTok videos 10 years later. Although it did end with her arrest, Snooki reveals that she doesn’t regret it at all.
Snooki does not remember getting arrested while filming ‘Jersey Shore’
In a recent YouTube video, Polizzi recounts her favorite moments from her time filming Jersey Shore. Although she doesn’t remember everything that happened, getting arrested is on her list of top memories.
The reality TV star recalls partying at Karma until 5 a.m. and then staying up with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro until 8 a.m. She went to sleep and then had to be at work at The Shore Store by 10:30 a.m. When she arrived at the t-shirt shop on the Seaside Heights, New Jersey, boardwalk, she decided to keep the party going.
“I ended up stealing beers from Danny [Merk] ‘s fridge,” Snooki recalls. “I ran into the bathroom and started chugging them.”
Then she decided to go bar hopping down the boardwalk by herself. She stopped to buy drinks and do shots.
“Next thing I know, she is darting,” roommate Deena Cortese remembers. Her and Jenni “JWoww” Farley attempted to follow Snooki down the boardwalk.
“So basically it was a spiral day,” Snooki describes what she remembers from the arrest. “This was before we called our days spirals — like the spiral squad. I’m going to keep the party going because I’m gonna pass. I blacked out at some point. All of a sudden, I’m waking up in a jail cell. I’m on a concrete floor, and there is dirt everywhere. I was looking for the cameras, looking for the producers.”
Snooki doesn’t regret her arrest
When Polizzi woke up in a jail cell with no recollection of how she got there, she was confused. The producers were nowhere to be found, and she wondered why they left her alone.
“When I woke up, the cops were very nice,” Snooki recalls. “They took me out of the cell, and they gave me water and donuts. I said, ‘What happened?'”
“‘You tried to hit an officer, so we had to arrest you,'” Polizzi recalls what the cops told her.
She remembers thinking that her father would be very upset, but she was happy she didn’t hurt anyone.
“You know what? — I don’t regret it,” Snooki says when she finishes the story. “I’m really glad I made that moment for all of you.”
What was Snooki charged for when she was arrested on ‘Jersey Shore’?
On July 30, 2010, Polizzi was arrested for disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and criminal annoyance of others. During her Sept. 8, 2010, plea bargain, the last two charges were dropped. She received a $500 fine and was sentenced to community service.
